Corporate culture is called the soul of modern enterprise management,and cultural management is the highest realm of modern enterprise management.In the era of change and transformation,corporate culture is paid more attention by enterprises.The past research shows that whether the corporate strategy can be achieved and whether the corporate change project can be successfully implemented depends on whether the corporate culture can adapt to the corporate strategy and corporate change strategy.TC Company is a fine chemical enterprise established more than 20 years,with two main businesses: lithium ion battery materials and daily chemical materials.After years of deep work in the fine chemical industry,TC Company has become a leading enterprise in both lithium-ion battery materials and daily chemical materials,and enjoys a certain reputation in the international market.However,with the change of strategic focus of TC company and some challenges from enterprise management and enterprise reform,it is obvious that the corporate culture of TC company can no longer fully adapt to the development of the enterprise.Therefore,it is worth studying to diagnose and improve the culture of TC company so that it can better match the company strategy and management.This study draws on Quinn’s organizational culture diagnosis methods and tools to diagnose TC company’s corporate culture,summarizes the problems and reasons existing in the corporate culture,and then put forward improvement strategies for these problems and their causes.When diagnosing the corporate culture of TC company,we mainly through the analysis of the dominant culture of the company,the performance of the main dimensions of corporate culture,comparison of the views of corporate culture of the different levels,the gap between the current and the desired corporate culture,etc.We finally got the problems existing in TC company corporate culture: weak innovation atmosphere,lack of creative culture;little attention to grassroots staff,lack of cooperative culture;much focus on results,much competitive culture.When discussing how to improve the corporate culture of TC company,we first make clear the requirements of the company’s development strategy for corporate culture,and then put forward the improvement strategy of corporate culture according to the problems diagnosed and analyzed by corporate culture and their causes.The research on the diagnosis and improvement of TC company’s corporate culture points out the direction for the construction of TC company’s organizational culture,and also has reference significance for other small and medium-sized enterprises.In addition,the application of Quinn’s diagnostic method of organizational culture in this study is also a beneficial attempt of Quinn’s diagnostic method of organizational culture in Chinese enterprises.
