Since the new millennium,China’s industrialization and urbanization have accelerated, and due to the unevenness of geographic location, resource endowment and other conditions, there are great disparities in rural development among regions and within regions, and most rural areas are in a state of gradual decline, and there are significant differences in the degree of restructuring among different rural areas,so how to promote sustainable rural development and restructuring to achieve rural revitalization has become an important issue. As an important unit of surface system, the Great Lake Basin,The Eco-Urban agglomeration around Poyang Lake is of great significance to the socio-economic development of China.Along with the execution of a series of important policies such as Central Rising Strategy,Eco-Urban agglomeration around Poyang Lake Plan(2015-2030)and Greater Nanchang Metropolitan Cluster Plan(2015-2030),the external environment and endogenous dynamics of rural development and restructuring keep transformation, the elements of rural regional system change significantly, and the process of rural development and restructuring changes dramatically with it.On the basis of constructing the analysis framework of rural development and restructuring evolution model, the Eco-Urban agglomeration around Poyang Lake is selected as the study area. The spatial and temporal evolution patterns of rural development level and rural restructuring degree between 2000 to 2020 are analyzed from the three elements of rural regional system, the population, land, and industry. The major factors influencing rural restructuring were identified by using the geodetector. On the basis of the results of the rural type zones, suggestions are made for the optimization and enhancement of each type of rural areas. The main findings of this study are as follows.(1)The spatial and temporal evolution pattern of rural development level is interpreted by the characteristics of internal elements of the rural region system.From2000 to 2020,the rural development level of the Eco-Urban agglomeration around Poyang Lake has improved significantly and the leading element of rural development have evolved continuously, and the RDL_C high value area is expanding. In general, the rural development level in the study area is in decline from 2000 to 2010,and then the rural development level improves rapidly, the mean value of RDL_Cincreases from 0.218to 0.347;the rural development has experienced a process from the dominant factor of land to the dominant factor of industry in 2010,and then to the dominant factor of population. The development of the rural has gone through a process from being dominated by the land factor to the industrial factor and then to the population factor in2010.(2)The spatial-temporal evolution pattern of the rural restructuring degree is interpreted by the evolution trend of elements within the system. From 2000 to 2020,the rural restructuring degree in Eco-Urban agglomeration around Poyang Lake is high, but the rural restructuring degree has a large variability in time, space, and each element, and the location of the RRD_C high value area is always in dynamic change. The rural restructuring degree in the study area shows a systematic rhythmic characteristic,it shows a wave-like advance, with RRD_C of 0.014 in 2000,and then decreasing to-0.023,then increasing to 0.056 in 2010,and then decreasing to 0.013 in 2015,and then increasing to 0.060 in 2020,and RRD_C,RRD_C and RRD_C also show this characteristic.(3)The driving factors of rural restructuring is analyzed by the external environmental changes of the system. The rural restructuring of the Eco-Urban agglomeration around Poyang Lake which is the result of the combined effect of many geographic factors, and there are significant differences in the effect of each factor at different scales. And the driving force of the two-factor interaction is stronger than that of the single factor, and the interaction type is dominated by the two-factor enhancement.(4)Identification of rural type zones through static and dynamic interaction of elements within the rural region system.Based on the two indices of rural development level and rural restructuring degree, the rural areas in the study area are divided into six types of zones, each type is the result of the interaction of local human-land relations, among which Type I and Type III zones are the main types of zones, accounting for55.36%of all types.Through the identification of different types of zones,we propose countermeasures and suggestions for the restructuring of"population-land-industry"development in different types of rural areas.
