Since the reform and opening up,the agricultural development model with high input and high consumption has not only promoted economic development and guaranteed people’s livelihood,but also led to agro-ecological problems such as resource destruction,decline in environmental carrying capacity,and weakening of ecological restoration capacity,which has affected the further development of agriculture.At the same time,building a coordinated development mechanism between agricultural economy and environment and improving agricultural ecological efficiency have become a research hotspot in the field of agriculture.Among them,as agriculture is the world’s second largest source of greenhouse gas emissions,carbon emissions have emerged as a key driver of ecological problems,at the same time,agriculture has the function of carbon sink,is the core indicator to achieve carbon reduction and sequestration.Therefore,under the background of low-carbon agricultural development,including the agricultural carbon sink and carbon emissions,into the system of assessing agricultural ecological efficiency,the analysis of the main factors affecting agricultural ecological efficiency and the policy suggestions for the development of low-carbon agriculture on the basis of measuring the agricultural ecological efficiency of Shandong Province can provide an evaluation basis for the pilot construction of ecological agriculture in Shandong Province,which is of practical significance for the development of green,environmentally friendly and sustainable agriculture in Shandong Province.Firstly,the characteristics of agricultural ecological economic development in Shandong Province are analyzed,and the total carbon sink and carbon emission total,this paper measures and analyzes the intensity and temporal and spatial characteristics of agricultural carbon sinks and emissions in Shandong Province.Second,a farm eco-efficiency assessment system was constructed from a low carbon perspective,and the spatial differences and temporal dynamics of agricultural eco-efficiency in Shandong Province from 2010 to 2020 were measured and analyzed by using the Super-SBM model and the Global-Malmquist efficiency index.Finally,the we use a stochastic-effects Tobit model to investigate the key drivers of agricultural ecological efficiency from a low-carbon perspective,and the improvement path of agricultural ecological efficiency is proposed for the problem.The results show that from the static analysis,the agricultural ecological efficiency>agricultural economic efficiency > agricultural carbon emission efficiency in Shandong Province from 2010 to 2020,and the agricultural ecological efficiency shows the > of Luzhong > Luxi Ludong’s trend,agricultural ecological efficiency has obvious regional heterogeneity;From the dynamic analysis,the average value of the Global-Malmquist efficiency index in Shandong Province during the observation period was greater than 1,indicating that the ecological efficiency level of low-carbon agriculture in Shandong Province gradually improved,and technological progress played a leading role in the improvement of efficiency.From the perspective of low carbon,the influencing factors of agricultural ecological efficiency in Shandong Province show that the agricultural industrial structure,economic development volume and industrialization level have a positive impact on the agricultural ecological efficiency of Shandong Province and the three major regions,and the rural electricity consumption has a negative impact.There was a negative correlation between agricultural machinery density and agricultural ecological efficiency in Shandong Province,Luxi and Luzhong areas,and positive relationships in Ludong area.There was no significant correlation between the level of technological development and the overall agricultural ecological efficiency of Shandong Province and Luxi area,and there was a negative correlation with Ludong and Luzhong areas,respectively.The level of financial support for agriculture has a significant negative impact on the agricultural ecological efficiency of Shandong Province.
