Research On The Impact Of The Coordinated Development Level Of Bidirectional FDI On The Efficiency Of China’s Green Economy

Under the new development pattern of mutual promotion of both domestic and foreign cycles,with the deepening development of globalization,China’s links with the rest of the world are gradually deepening.Trans-regional investment is an important way for China to actively participate in global economic activities and one of the main ways to obtain resources,technology and market.China’s foreign direct investment and foreign direct investment scale is huge,how to orderly promote the coordinated development of the two,how to efficiently use two-way FDI has become the focus of current research.As the world’s largest developing country,the environmental problems brought by China’s past economic development mode are increasingly appearing.If China wants to continue to maintain good development potential in the future,it is in urgent need of transforming the extensive economic development mode,shifting to the green and efficient development mode,improving the green economic efficiency,and realizing the green growth of China’s economy.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the influence of the coordinated development of FDI on the green economic efficiency.Based on the above background,this paper firstly analyses the influence mechanism between FDI and green economic efficiency in theory,and briefly analyses the current situation of foreign direct investment and foreign direct investment in our country.The coupled system model is selected to measure the coordinated development level of two-way FDI in 30 provinces from 2003 to 2020,and the super efficiency SBM-DEA method is used to measure the efficiency of green economy,which is taken as the dependent variable.The dynamic panel system GMM regression model was used to test the impact of coordinated development of two-way FDI on the efficiency of green economy,and the threshold model and intermediary effect model were further used to test the transmission mechanism of industrial structure upgrading.At the same time,considering the different economic development conditions of provinces and cities,this paper divides the whole sample into four economic regions,namely northeast,east,central and west,respectively,to carry out regional heterogeneity analysis.The results show that: overall,the coordinated development of two-way FDI has a significant effect on the efficiency of green economy,and there is regional heterogeneity.In terms of subregion,the coordinated development of two-way FDI in the eastern region has a much higher promoting effect on the efficiency of green economy than that in other regions,but the coordinated development level of two-way FDI in the northeast region has a inhibitory effect on the efficiency of green economy.In threshold regression,with industrial structure upgrading as the threshold variable,two-way FDI and green economy efficiency show typical nonlinear characteristics.With the difference of industrial structure rationalization and upgrading,the significance of two-way FDI influence on green economy efficiency changes.At the same time,the upgrading of industrial structure has a certain conduction effect on the influence of the coordinated development of two-way FDI on the efficiency of green economy,which is manifested as an intermediary effect.On the basis of the above conclusions,this paper puts forward the suggestion that we should attach importance to the coordinated development of two-way FDI,adhere to the implementation of "bringing in" and "going out",and explore the mechanism of in-depth coordinated development of international direct investment.It should reasonably plan the layout of two-way FDI flows with a clear aim,pay attention to the scale,quality and investment direction of two-way FDI,strengthen the policy guidance to various economic regions,and do a good job in ensuring the coordinated development of two-way FDI and improving economic efficiency.At the same time,attention should be paid to the development of international direct investment based on regional characteristics,local industrial characteristics,and improve the efficiency of local green economy.
