| As a key,strategic and pioneering industry supporting the development of the national economy,the logistics industry plays an important role in securing and supporting the establishment of China’s Belt and Road Initiative,and is the backbone of the Belt and Road strategy to achieve connectivity between regions.The logistics industry plays an important role in securing and supporting the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.As global environmental issues are becoming more and more important,new requirements for the environmentally sustainable development of logistics have been introduced under the ’double carbon’ objective,and the traditional development pattern of high-input,high-output and raw logistics no longer meets the requirements of today’s environmentally sustainable development,it is therefore necessary to use scientific methods to objectively assess the current situation and performance level of regional logistics under the objective of promoting the quality development of the logistics industry.Therefore,in the context of the objective of promoting the quality development of the logistics industry,the use of a scientific method to objectively assess the current situation and the level of performance of the green development of regional logistics is an important theoretical basis and practical relevance for the government in the formulation of green logistics development policy.Based on this,this article selects provinces and cities along the "Belt and Road" as research objects and uses data from 2013 to 2020 to conduct empirical research.The ultra-efficient SBM model with unwanted power was used to statically analyze the green efficiency of the logistics industry along the "Belt and Path",followed by dynamic analysis from the point of view of time and space using the ML index and Arc GIS software,and finally,the Tobit model was used to study the factors influencing green efficiency in the logistics industry based on efficiency results.The results show that:(1)The green efficiency of the logistics sector along the "Belt and Road" showed an overall upward trend from 2013 to 2020,and of the overall average green efficiency of the logistics sector in four main regions,the southeastern region > the south-west region > the northwest region > the Northeast.(2)From a dynamic point of view,it is concluded that the evolutionary characteristics of the green efficiency of the logistics industry in the provinces and cities of the "Belt and Road" are obvious.From the point of view of the decomposition of efficiency,technological progress is the main reason for the increase in the productivity of green common factors in the logistics sector.From the point of view of spatial evolution,the green efficiency of the logistics industry along the entire route gradually developed in an efficient direction and showed an agglomeration effect,which usually showed high efficiency characteristics in the southeastern region and low efficiency in the northeast region and the north-west region,and the spatial distribution model was "block-shaped".(3)In terms of influencing factors,the level of regional economic development,the rate of utilization of logistics resources and the locational advantage are significantly positively correlated with the green efficiency of the logistics industry;the industrial structure and the level of energy consumption are significantly negatively correlated with the green efficiency of the logistics industry;the level of professionalism of logistics talents is not significantly correlated with the green efficiency of the logistics industry.Based on the results of the logistics industry green efficiency assessment,targeted countermeasures and improvement suggestions will be put forward according to local conditions,so as to provide a reference for the development measures of the logistics industry,promote the improvement of the overall green development level of China’s logistics industry,and narrow the gap between different regions. |
