The traditional culture of the ethnic group is the exploration of production and life by the ancients,which has become the profound cultural heritage and broad national spiritual culture of the Chinese nation.The embroidery art is an ancient folk art in China,which has artistic value and aesthetic value.The Dong embroidery art is one of the components of China ’s embroidery art.The artistic creation of Dong embroidery contains the rich spiritual world of the Dong people,which is the embodiment of their culture and life.The Sanjiang Dong area is located in the northern part of Guangxi,which gathers the excellent ethnic culture and ethnic characteristics of the Dong ethnic group.Dong embroidery is an important cultural carrier of Dong people.It embodies the production,life,belief and culture of Dong people and contains rich spiritual connotation.The connotation of pattern form and meaning is an extension and development of culture by emotional tendency,ideology,aesthetic expression and schematization.This paper takes the weaving and embroidery of Dong ethnic group in Sanjiang County of Guangxi as a case study,which is divided into six parts : The first part expounds the research object and background,purpose and significance,research status analysis,content and method,key difficulties and innovation points,combs the related research of weaving and embroidery of Dong ethnic group in Sanjiang,Guangxi,and analyzes the current situation.The second part explains the pattern art of Sanjiang Dong embroidery pattern presentation and meaning expression from the perspective of semiotics.This paper analyzes the symbols of Sanjiang Dong embroidery patterns from the perspective of Morris ’ s trichotomy in semiotics,and analyzes the connotation and extension of embroidery patterns from the meaning expression and bidirectionality of Sanjiang Dong embroidery patterns.The third part discusses the cultural symbols and aesthetic taste of Sanjiang embroidery patterns,and expounds the significance of Sanjiang Dong embroidery cultural symbols from Morris semiotics,pragmatics and semantics.The fourth part describes the artistic characteristics and the deconstruction of form and meaning of Sanjiang Dong embroidery.Through the analysis of the classification of patterns,the deconstruction of symbolic meaning,the analysis of artistic characteristics such as weaving and embroidery patterns,the connotation and significance of Sanjiang Dong embroidery are discussed.The fifth part studies the analysis and protection development strategy.Through the investigation of the cultural creation of Sanjiang Dong embroidery patterns and the design concept and practice,the Sanjiang Dong embroidery pattern symbols are integrated into the cultural creation for design positioning and design practice.Combining theory with practice,combining it with modern design,better inheriting and protecting ethnic culture.The sixth part is the conclusion,summarizing the necessity of cultural protection and inheritance of Sanjiang Dong pattern weaving and embroidery,objectively looking at the relationship between themselves and ethnic culture,enhancing the protection of ethnic culture and enhancing ethnic self-confidence.Analyze the cultural connotation and implication of the visual symbols of the embroidery patterns,use the form and meaning to deconstruct and disassemble the pattern symbols,and then present them on the cultural and creative design through the combination of form and meaning deconstruction,shape grammar and innovative design.This paper explores the research significance and value of ethnic culture through the deconstruction of the visual symbols of Sanjiang Dong embroidery patterns,which is of great significance to the inheritance and development of Sanjiang Dong ethnic culture.
