With the gradual realization of large-scale and intensive aquaculture, aquaculture efficiency has been significantly improved, and environmental pollution problems brought by it have become increasingly prominent.Manure pollution from livestock and poultry breeding has exerted great pressure on the surrounding ecological environment and threatened the health of residents.Waste recycling treatment is considered to be an effective way to deal with the above problems and contribute to the formation of green agricultural production mode.Existing studies show that relying on the government alone to promote livestock and poultry breeding resource treatment requires more funds and manpower, and the constraint effect is not satisfactory. Therefore,in order to promote the recycling treatment of fecal waste,it is very important to explore the factors that may affect the recycling treatment behavior of livestock farmers in combination with their social situation and social relations.Based on the theory of social capital and the theory of farmer behavior, this study explores the specific influence of social capital on farmers’ fecal recycling treatment behavior, and analyzes the influencing factors of farmers’ fecal recycling treatment.Based on the measurement of farmers’ social capital and perceived value, the research was carried out from the following three aspects: First,Logit model was used to analyze the impact of social capital and its different dimensions on farmers’ waste recycling treatment, and the possible interaction between the three dimensions of social capital was discussed.Secondly, stepwise regression method was used to analyze the mediating role of perceived value in the influence of social capital on farmers’ waste resource utilization behavior.Thirdly, considering that farmers may have multiple operations, the moderated mediation effect of Bootstrap was used to test the difference of the influence of social network and perceived value on their resource-processing behavior under different part-time jobs. The results showed that:(1)Social capital significantly promoted fecal recycling behavior of duck farmers,in which social networks and social norms played a greater role in promoting fecal recycling than social trust.(2)As a special social capital, social trust has a positive moderating effect on the recycling of manure by duck farmers in the social network and social norms, and this moderating effect is different among duck farmers of different ages and educational levels, and has a greater moderating effect on low-education and old-generation duck farmers.(3)Perceived value plays an intermediary role in the influence of social capital on farmers’fecal recycling behavior.(4)The proportion of aquaculture income will strengthen the influence of social capital on the recycling treatment of farmers, and the moderating effect is also caused by the effect of the value perception of aquaculture income proportion enhancement on the recycling treatment behavior of manure.Based on the research conclusions, this paper puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions:First, through rural informatization construction, industrial organization construction, publicity and guidance of good value orientation to improve farmers’social capital in multiple dimensions;Secondly, the perceived value of farmers should be improved by publicizing the economic and ecological benefits of waste recycling treatment, setting up typical demonstration households and strengthening technical training. Finally,in the above methods, attention should be paid to the targeted promotion according to the differences in the degree of part-time employment, age and education among different farmers.
