| In recent years,with the rapid development of China’s economy,the issues of population ageing and environmental protection have become increasingly prominent.In order to solve these problems in the community management level,China is exploring a series of ageing-friendly and eco-friendly renovations to turn the existing residential community into a green retirement community with elderly service functions and a sustainable development model,and the city of S,as a frontline of Reform and Opening up,is vigorously promoting the early demonstration of eco-friendly retirement community.At present,the work is still in its initial stage,and the evaluation system,industry standards and supporting policies are not yet perfect,which seriously affects the development of green senior living communities in S city.This study draws on cutting-edge research on green retirement communities at domestic and international level,and builds a scientific and effective evaluation index system for green retirement communities,taking into account the actual situation in S,in order to evaluate green retirement communities in S and propose countermeasures.Guided by community based management theory and green development theory,this study carefully compares the research results on the green retirement communities at both domestic and international levels,and uses frequency statistics to establish the framework of this evaluation index system.The evaluation method of this evaluation index system was developed using the hierarchical analysis method(AHP)and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method(FCE).This study takes Community A,a representative environmental retirement community in S city,as the object of empirical research and evaluates it using the green retirement community evaluation index system constructed in this study.The results indicate that: I.Community A has a score of 70.68,which is a good grade,but there is still a significant gap from excellent;II.The community’s green low-carbon level is high,with outstanding performance in four aspects: energy consumption,resource use,green building and community environment;III.Community A has average performance in four aspects:elderly services,medical and health care,community management and supporting facilities,which need to be strengthened with emphasis;IV.By combining the hierarchical analysis method(AHP)with the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method(FCE),the green elderly community can be effectively evaluated.Integrating the evaluation index system of green retirement communities in S city and the evaluation results of green retirement communities in community A,this study proposes the following countermeasures: I.to establish a green retirement community deliberation and coordination mechanism;II.to develop a scientific and reasonable construction standard system;III.to provide personalised retirement services;IV.to strengthen the allocation and training of medical and health service personnel and community elderly care service personnel;V.to establish a social and recreational development and management centre. |
