| The institution is an important guarantee for social order.Whether the public can effectively understand the institution,widely accept it,and demonstrate compliance is an important response indicator for the effectiveness of social governance.China is in a period of rapid transition from traditional society to "stranger society".Institutional trust is a more long-term and stable social governance condition than interpersonal trust.It is also a practical issue that urgently needs to be studied in the field of public governance.The medical and health institution is related to the national economy and people’s livelihood.The family doctor contract service institution is a profound adjustment to the existing medical and health service model,medical concept,and medical order.This public health institution was used as an example to research the relationship between institutional trust and compliance behavior.Taking institutional trust theory as the framework,through theoretical analysis to explore the influencing factors of institutional trust and the mechanism of institutional trust’s impact on the compliance behavior,the "institutional perception-institutional trust-compliance behavior" influential path model is proposed.Based on the family doctor contract service institution,the residents who signed a contract with family doctors in Xuancheng,Anhui Province were used as the research object to conduct empirical research.365 questionnaires were collected by questionnaire survey and the data was analyzed quantitatively.The results of the study show that institutional perception has a significant impact on institutional trust.The stronger the individual’s perceived legitimacy,fairness,and effectiveness in understanding the institution’s content and interacting with the executives of the institution,the more he or she trusts in the institution.Institutional trust has a significant impact on compliance behaviors.The more a person trusts an institution,the more likely he or she is to act in compliance with it.Institutional trust plays a partial intermediary role in the process of institutional perception’s impact on institutional compliance behaviors.Suggestions for strengthening institutional trust and promoting compliance behaviors: perfecting the institution’s legal policy procedures,and strengthening institutional legitimacy;bridging the urban-rural gap in resource allocation,and improving institutional fairness;ensuring institutional implementation and full supervision,and implementing institutional effectiveness;improving the sense of acquisition of the institution’s target groups,and strengthening the initiative of institutional compliance. |
