Objective:Through the prospective research method, this study uses the traditional Chinese Medicine Sequential Therapy of Professor Cheng Ling, director of Gynecology of Wangjing Hospital of Chinese Academy of traditional Chinese medicine to treat patients with ovarian reserve function decline, compares their menstruation, basic serum hormone level, main clinical symptoms and pregnancy before and after treatment,This study summarizes and analyzes the characteristics and efficacy of the treatment, and provides a new way of thinking for the diagnosis and treatment of decreased ovarian reserve function.By analyzing the basic information of patients, summarize the incidence of the disease in the population, including the age of onset, course of disease and clinical manifestations,so as to enhance the understanding of the disease. Methods:According to the diagnostic criteria of ovarian reserve hypofunction, the nadir criteria as well as the shedding criteria of this study were established,45 patients with ovarian reserve hypofunction who met the diagnostic criteria of this study were included, treated with the empirical Chinese medicine sequential method of Professor Cheng Ling for 3 menstrual cycles, comparing the menstrual status, basal serum hormone level, main clinical symptoms and other indexes before and after treatment, statistically assessing the improvement of the observed indexes, evaluating and summarizing the clinical efficacy of the Chinese medicine sequential treatment of this disease by Professor Cheng Ling. Results:During the treatment process,4 cases dropped out due to not completing the observation period stipulated in the protocol, and 41 cases were actually included.1.The average age of the 41 patients with reduced ovarian reserve was 34.68 years old,of which the most patients were 35-39 years old, with 22 patients(53.9%);followed by 30-34 years old, with 15 patients(36.6%);the least was 26-29 years old, only 4(9.8%).2.The average disease duration of 41 patients with decreased ovarian reserve was 19.61 months, the maximum duration was 72 months, and the minimum was only 1 month.3.The results of this study show that the overall effective rate of Professor Cheng Ling’s traditional Chinese medicine sequential therapy in the treatment of diminished ovarian reserve is 97.6%.4.After the patients with decreased ovarian reserve in this study were treated with the sequential therapy of traditional Chinese medicine by Professor Chengling, the sex hormone level:the serum FSH level decreased on the 2nd-4th day of menstruation before and after treatment,P<0.001,the difference was statistically significant.LH level also decreased after treatment,P<0.001,the difference was statistically significant; Before and after treatment of E2 levels, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001),indicating that Professor Cheng Ling’s traditional Chinese medicine sequential therapy can effectively increase Patients with high estrogen, improve the symptoms.5.In the TCM symptom score,TCM sequential therapy remarkably modified the TCM symptoms before and after treatment.P<0.001,the difference is statistically significant;the total effective rate of the TCM symptom score is 97.6%.Conclusion:This study found that before the age of 40,the older the patient, the greater the possibility of suffering from decreased ovarian reserve. At the same time,Professor Cheng Ling’s sequential therapy of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of decreased ovarian reserve can significantly reduce the FSH in the patient’s sex hormones.and LH levels, increasing estrogen levels in patients. In addition,it remarkably relieves patients’ clinical conditions and restores menstruation. No significant negative effects were found in this study, which is safer and more reliable than Western medicine, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
