| Objective : In view of characteristics of qi-yin deficiency syndrome in patients with intermediate and advanced lung squamous cell carcinoma,the clinical benefits and symptom changes of patients with advanced lung squamous cell carcinoma treated by jiawei Shashen Maidong Decoction combined with chemotherapy were observed,and the potential anti-tumor advantages of integrated Traditional Chinese and Western medicine were discussed.Method: A total of 60 patients with intermediate and advanced lung squamous cell carcinoma were collected and randomly divided into 2 groups with 30 cases in each group.The control group was given gemcitabine + cisplatin(GP)regimen,and the experimental group was given GP regimen combined with jiawei Shashen Maidong decoction for 4 cycles,and the curative effect was evaluated.Result: Compared with the control group,the patients in the experimental group had more significant improvement in quality of life,alleviation of TCM clinical symptoms,reduction of toxic and side reactions and improvement of immune status(P<0.05).Although there was no significant difference between the two groups in the change of solid tumor curative effect,a more significant downward trend of tumor markers was showed in the experiment group(P<0.05).Conclusion: The yiqi yangyin method can obviously alleviate the clinical symptoms of advanced lung squamous cell carcinoma patients,improve the quality of life,regulate immune balance,and reduce the toxic and side effects and adverse reactions of chemotherapy,which is an effective treatment strategy for lung squamous cell carcinoma with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine. |
