Clinical Observation Of Qufeng Huatan Tongluo Decoction In Treating Acute Arteriolar Occlusion Cerebral Infarction Of Wind-phlegm Entering Collaterals

Objective: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Qufeng Huatan Tongluo decoction by observing the changes of TCM syndrome integral,NIHSS score scale and Barthel index scale of wind-phlegm entering collaterals type acute small artery occlusion cerebral infarction before and after treatment.Methods: Randomized control method was used in this study.A total of60 cases were included and randomly divided into control group and observation group(30 cases in each group).The treatment of both groups followed the clinical pathway of acute ischemic stroke established by the Department of encephalopathy of our hospital for routine treatment,and the observation group was orally added with the Traditional Chinese medicine "Qufeng Huatan Tongluo Decoction" on this basis.Two weeks was a course of treatment,and the changes of TCM syndrome score,NIHSS score and Barthel index score were observed before and after treatment.The relevant data were collected for statistical analysis and finally evaluated the effectiveness of "Dispelling wind and huatan tongluo Decoction" in the treatment of patients with wind-phlegm-collateral-type acute arteriolar occlusion cerebral infarction.Results:1.A total of 60 patients were included in this clinical study,and60 patients completed clinical observation,with a total shedding rate of 0%.2.Before treatment,there was no statistical significance in gender,age,past history,laboratory indicators,NIHSS score,Barthel index,TCM syndrome score,etc.(P>0.05).3.NIHSS score: both groups were effective in improving neurological deficits(P < 0.05),and the total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group(86.67% vs 73.33%,P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was superior to the control group in improving neurological deficits.Barthel index score: Both groups were effective in improving daily living ability(P < 0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in improving patients’ daily living ability(P=0.108 > 0.05),and there was no statistically significant difference between the treatment group and the control group in improving patients’ daily living ability.4.TCM syndrome score: in terms of the improvement of wind-phlegm into collcollateral syndrome,both groups were effective(P<0.05),and the total effective rate in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group(83.33%vs70%,P=0.043 < 0.05),indicating that the improvement of wind-phlegm into collcollateral syndrome in the treatment group was superior to that in the control group.Conclusion:Compared with western medicine treatment,qufeng Huatan Tongluo decoction combined with western medicine basic treatment can better improve the patients with acute small artery occlusion cerebral infarction,can better improve the degree of nerve function defect of patients,and contribute to the improvement of wind-phlegm into collaterals syndrome;But the two groups were comparable in terms of improving patients’ ability to perform daily tasks.
