Objective: To study the unsmooth pulse type abnormal sound waves of lumbar disc herniation in modern pulsology,to explore its occurrence sites and layers, and to objectify and visualize the specificity of abnormal sound waves. Methods: A total of 45 cases of patients with lumbar disc herniation(experimental group)and relatively healthy people(control group)were collected by "Song’s Hydroacoustics Pulse Diagnosis Instrument " from the First Affiliated Hospital of Shandong First Medical University. The pulse sound wave signal is analyzed by wavelet analysis, spectrum analysis,Hilbert-Huan g transform analysis, sample entropy and multi-scale entropy analysis by using MATLAB 2020 a software, and the abnormal characteristic waves of the two groups of sound waves are directly compared and found in the time domain. Finally,a diagnostic test is carried out according to the diagnostic model established by this kind of abnormal sound waves, and the correlation between pain score and the occurrence frequency of abnormal sound waves is analyzed. Results: 1.Compared with the control group, the location of abnormal sound waves in the radial artery in the experimenta l group was more than that in segments 5-8 of the fifth layer of the ulna.2.Wavelet analysis and Hilbert Huang analysis show that the abnormal sound waves of the experimental group have the characteristics of high frequency and low amplitude on the d6-d9 scale compared with the control group, and belong to low-frequency audible sound waves.3.The results of sample entropy and multi-scale entropy analysis showed that the entropy of pulse sound waves in the fifth layer of the ulnar artery in the experimenta l group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.01).4.The diagnostic test results showed that the sensitivity of the model was 80.39% and the specificity was 89.74%.5.There was a significant correlation between Oswestry dysfunction index and abnormal sound waves(P< 0.01).Conclusion: The unsmooth pulse sound waves in the radial artery of patients with lumbar disc herniation are abnormal low-frequency audible sound waves. The abnormal sound waves in segments 5-8 of the fifth layer of the ulnar part of the radial artery have diagnostic value for lum bar disc herniation.
