Objective: To explore whether the physical properties of the "unsmooth pulse" in the radial artery of patients with ulcerative colitis are abnormal low-frequency audible sound waves, and to study the distribution, level and point of its occurrence. Methods: The acoustic pulse detection system developed by Professor Song Lucheng’s team was used to collect the acoustic pulse waves of 62 patients with ulcerative colitis and 62 relatively healthy people.MATLAB software was used to process and analyze the pulse signals, and the difference characteristics of the two groups of subjects were compared. Finally, diagnostic tests were carried out to evaluate the sensitivity and specificity of the diagnostic model based on the abnormally low frequency audible sound waves. Results: 1.Through intuitive analysis,it is concluded that the abnormally low-frequency audible sound waves in the radial artery of patients with ulcerative colitis mostly appear in the GI segment of the third layer of the left ulnar vein.2.The pulse wave amplitude of the healthy group was higher than that of the ulcerative colitis group on the whole.3.Through wavelet analysis and Hilbert yellow transform analysis,it is concluded that the abnormally low frequency audible sound wave of patients with ulcerative colitis has the characteristics of relatively high frequency and low amplitude.4.By multi-scale entropy analysis, the sonic pulse wave of the third layer of the left ulnar vein in patients with ulcerative colitis is significantly more complex than that in relatively healthy people.5.The sensitivity and specificity of the diagnostic model based on the abnormally low frequency audible sound wave were 71% and 75.8%,which showed good diagnostic value in the diagnosis of ulcerative colitis. Conclusion: The physical properties of the "astringent pulse" in the radial artery in patients with ulcerative colitis are abnormal low frequency audible sound waves, which appear in the GI segment of the third layer of the left ulnar vein.
