Clinical Observation Of Medicated Thread Moxibustion Of Traditional Zhuang Medicine Combined With Qiju Dihuang Pill Orally In The Treatment Of Dry Eye Disease With Liver And Kidney Yin Deficiency

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of medicated thread moxibustion of traditional Zhuang medicine combined with Qiju Dihuang Pills orally in the treatment of dry eye disease with Liver and Kidney Yin Deficiency,and provide theoretical basis for Zhuang medicine clinical treatment of dry eye disease with Liver and Kidney Yin Deficiency.Methods: 80 patients with dry eye disease of Liver and Kidney Yin Deficiency meeting the criteria were selected and randomly assigned to Zhuang medicine medicated thread moxibustion therapy combined with Qiju Dihuang Pills oral treatment group(therapy group)and sodium hyaluronate eye drops group(control group)by using SPSS software.At the end of the trial,there were 75 patients finally completed,including 37 in the therapy group and 38 in the control group.The therapy group was treated with Zhuang medicine medicated thread moxibustion therapy and Qiju Dihuang Pills for oral administration.The moxibustion acupoints were selected Meigong three acupoints,Meixin acupoints,Qucha acupoints,Jingming acupoints,Sibai acupoints,Yangbai acupoints,Shangming acupoints,and auricular points(Yan).Moxibustion 3 times per acupoints every two days,the period of treatment is 1 month.The ingredients of Qiju Dihuang Pills contains wolfberry fruit,chrysanthemum,rehmannia glutinosa,dogwood meat,peony bark,Chinese yam,Poria cocos,Alisma orientalis,one oral 8 pills(3g),3times a day,and the period of treatment is 1 month.The control group was treated with Sodium Hyaluronate Eye Drops,1 drop each time,5-6 times a day,the course of treatment was 1 month.Both groups of patients were treated strictly follow the doctor’s instruction.Before and after treatment,specialist examinations of tear film break-up time(BUT)and Schirmer I test(SIT),as well as evaluation of subjective symptom scale and ocular surface disease index(OSDI),were performed to determine clinical efficacy.The data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 25.0.Results:(1)In the baseline data,there was no significant difference in gender,age,BUT,SIT,clinical symptom score and OSDI score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),indicating that the two groups were clinically comparable.(2)In terms of objective indicators,by comparing the BUT,SIT,subjective symptom scores,and OSDI scores of the two groups of patients before and after treatment,it was found that the tear film break-up time was prolonged,the tear secretion increased,the subjective symptoms improved,and the quality of life improved after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P>0.05),and when comparing the BUT,SIT,subjective symptom scores,and OSDI scores of the two groups after treatment,it was found that the treatment group was improve more significantly than the control group in improving the stability of tear film,prolonging the tear secretion time,improving subjective symptoms,and improving the quality of life of patients.and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)In terms of the total effective rate,in the therapy group,7 cases were markedly effective,29 cases were effective,and 1 case was ineffective,with a total effective rate of 97.30%.In the control group,2cases were markedly effective,29 cases were effective,and 7 cases were ineffective,with a total effective rate of 81.58%.The efficacy index of the medicated thread with the therapy group was better than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Adverse reactions:There were no adverse reactions in the therapy group and the control group during the course of treatment,and there was no allergic phenomenon to the drugs used.Conclusions: Medicated thread moxibustion of traditional Zhuang medicine combined with Qiju Dihuang Pills orally was more effective than Sodium Hyaluronate Eye Drops in the treatment of dry eye with Liver and Kidney Yin Deficiency,and it is more obvious in increasing tear film stability,promote tear secretion,improve the clinical symptoms and quality of life of the patients,and the curative effect is definite.There were no adverse reactions during the treatment period,and the safety was high.Medicated thread moxibustion of traditional Zhuang medicine enriches the effective treatment methods for dry eye disease,and is worthy of promotion and use in clinical practice.
