Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Wind-cold-damp Type Of Frozen Shoulder In The Acute Stage Of Frozen Shoulder By "San Tong" Tuina Therapy

Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of "San Tong" Tuina therapy on the wind-cold-damp type in the acute stage of frozen shoulder by comparing the treatment and observation with conventional Tuina therapy.Methods: 64 patients who were diagnosed with the wind-cold-damp type in the acute phase of frozen shoulder in the outpatient clinic and ward of the Department of Tuina of the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2020 to November 2021 were collected.Patients who met the criteria were divided into 32 cases in each group using the random number table method into the treatment group and the control group.Each treatment was given once every other day,and 6 times was considered as a course of treatment,and a total of 2 courses of treatment were given.After the treatment,statistical tests were performed by SPSS 25.0software to compare the changes in VAS score,ROM score,ADL score and clinical efficacy of "San Tong" Tuina therapy and conventional Tuina therapy for the treatment of wind-cold-damp type of frozen shoulder in the acute stage of periarthritis.Results: At the end of treatment,the VAS score,ROM score and ADL score of both groups improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the improvement was more significant in the treatment group(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.After the treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.875%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 84.375%,which was more effective in the treatment group compared with the control group by statistical analysis.Conclusion: The treatment of wind-cold-damp type of frozen shoulder in the acute stage was more effective than the control group,which could relieve the pain,improve the mobility of shoulder joint and improve the daily life of the patients.
