| Objective:To establish the competency evaluation index system for the post of directors of medical and nursing caring combined institutions,and provide reference for the practice of competency evaluation of the post of directors of medical and nursing caring combined institutions in Guangxi.Methods:Comprehensive using of literature analysis method,in-depth interview method and Delphi-AHP method to build the index system and determine the weight of the index,using the combination of quantitative and qualitative methods to study the directors of the medical and nursing caring combined institutions in Guangxi.Results:1.A competency evaluation index system for the post of directors of medical and nursing caring combined institutions has been established,with four first-level indicators,namely,ability literacy(0.47),knowledge level(0.28),personal characteristics(0.17),achievement motivation(0.07)and 27 second-level indicators.The positive degree of index system consultants is 100%,and the comprehensive authority degree is 0.81.The expert coordination degree in the first and second rounds was 0.36 and 0.44,which passed the significance test.2.The competency score of the directors of the medical and nursing caring combined institutions in Guangxi were 4.29±0.89,and the self-evaluation score of the directors were 4.00±0.83.In the overall evaluation,the score of directors characteristics were the highest 4.54±0.78,followed by knowledge level of 4.20±0.94,achievement motivation of4.31±0.88,ability literacy of 4.19±0.90.In the directors ’ self-assessment,the score of personal characteristics is the highest 4.54±0.59,followed by achievement motivation 4.03±0.77,knowledge level 3.81±0.88,ability literacy 3.76±0.78.3.According to one-way an OVA,age,educational background and professional title have significant influence on the competency dimensions of the post of directors of medical and nursing caring combined institutions in Guangxi,with statistically significant difference(P < 0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that educational background had a significant impact on the competency dimension of the post of directors of Guangxi medical and nursing caring combined institutions,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion(s):1.The competency evaluation index system for the post of directors of medical and nursing caring combined institutions is established,with strong authority of experts and relatively reliable research results.2.The competency of the post of directors of medical and nursing caring combined institutions in Guangxi is above the average level,and there is a certain space for improvement.In the directors ’ self-evaluation and the overall evaluation including other evaluation,the directors ’personal characteristics are good,but the ability and accomplishment need to be improved,mainly in team building,talent cultivation,cultural construction ability.Countermeasures and suggestions:Strengthening the cultivation of the competency of the directors of medical and nursing caring combined institutions;Formulating the professionalization plan for the directors of medical and nursing caring combined institutions;Establishing a training platform for the directors of medical and nursing caring combined institutions;Improving the assessment system for the directors of medical and nursing caring combined institutions. |
