Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Community Governance In The Context Of COVID-19

As a sudden public health event,COVID-19 has seriously threatened people’s life and property safety,and is a major test of urban governance capacity.As the basic unit of urban governance in China,community plays an important role in epidemic prevention and control.It is a key breakthrough in implementing epidemic prevention and control policies and improving the effectiveness of epidemic prevention and control,as well as an important window unit for protecting people’s lives and property.However,under the background of epidemic prevention and control,community governance has exposed many shortcomings.It is of great practical significance to improve community governance capacity by taking epidemic prevention and control as an opportunity.This study takes the epidemic prevention and control of COMMUNITY D in Suqian city as an example to explore the optimization strategy of community facing public health emergencies in China in the form of a case study.Since early 2021,under the background of the epidemic,the D community governance has accumulated certain experience,from the initial panic without fault in the middle of the busy and orderly,and then to today’s normalized management,D community governance in quickly to prevent the spread of epidemic chain,to carry out the disease prevention and control measures,link of social resources,propaganda and education shows a more powerful role.This study by literature research,questionnaire,interview method as the main research methods,combed the D community outbreak management measures in the past two years,and explained to the epidemic prevention and control of community governance main body responsibility,summed up the D community governance initiatives over the past two years time,common problems of the comprehensive analysis to understand D community governance and personality problems.Through questionnaire survey and interview,it is concluded that the governance of COMMUNITY D mainly has problems such as insufficient participation of community subjects,insufficient effectiveness of community services and insufficient construction of community system,and analyzes the problems existing in the governance of community D from the aspects of participation channels of community governance,community management system and community governance concept.Based on the problems found in the study,this study proposes optimization strategies from three aspects,namely,constructing a diversified pattern of community governance,innovating the model of community governance,and improving the construction of social governance system,in order to put forward countermeasures for the governance of COMMUNITY D.
