Objective:To systematically evaluate the diagnostic value of urine nuclear matrix protein 22 in bladder neoplasms. Methods:Pub Med,Web of Science,Wan Fang Database,CNKI and VIP were searched for studies about NMP22 and urine cytology in the diagnosis of bladder neoplasms from the establishment of the database to August 2021 according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria.Data extraction and quality evaluation were performed for the included literature.Meta-Disc1.4 software was used for Meta-analysis.Results:159 relevant studies were searched, and Meta-analysis was conducted on 14 literatures. The pooled sensitivity, specificity, positive likelihood ratio, negative likelihood ratio and diagnostic odds ratio of NMP22 to detect bladder neoplasms were 72.1%(95% CI0.696~0.746)、70.5%(95% CI 0.686 ~0.724)、3.868(95%CI 2.473 ~6.048)、0.378(95%CI 0.311~0.459)and 10.805(95%CI 7.089~16.467),respectively.The area under curve(AUC)for NMP22 was 0.821 and Q* index was 0.754.Conclusion:NMP22 has high sensitivity and specificity in the diagnosis of bladder neoplasms, with moderate overall diagnostic efficacy, and can be used as an important auxiliary method for clinical diagnosis and treatment of bladder neoplasms.
