Objectives:The aim of this article is to observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture meridian sinew nodal points therapy combined with PNF therapy in the treatment of spastic paralysis of the lower limbs after stroke,so as to provide a safe and effective treatment for the clinical rehabilitation of spastic patients with stroke. Methods:Patients from the Acupuncture V ward of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine were selected.Eighty patients with post-stroke spastic paralysis of the lower limbs who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into 40 cases each in the treatment and control groups. All patients were treated with conventional drug-based therapy for cerebrovascular disease as well as scalp acupuncture. On this basis, the treatment group:acupuncture meridian sinew nodal points therapy+PNF therapy;control group:conventional acupuncture therapy+PNF therapy. Both the control and treatment groups were treated once a day with 30 min of acupuncture and 30 min of PNF training, with 6 days of acupuncture and training per week and 1 day of rest for 3 weeks.Patients in both groups were assessed with the MAS scores,MBI scores and FMA scores once before and after treatment, and adverse effects were observed.Statistical results were analyzed using SPSS 26.0.Results:1.Of the 80 patients included,a total of 4 cases were dislodged, including 2 in the treatment group and 2 in the control group.A total of 76 patients were finally completed in the trial.Including 38 cases in the control group and 38 cases in the treatment group. Before treatment, the MAS scores,MBI scores and FMA scores of the two groups were not statistically different(P>0.05)and were comparable.2.Clinical Effectiveness:After 3 courses of treatment, the total effective rate was 92.1%in the treatment group and 68.4%in the control group, with statistical differences in the overall efficacy of the two groups(P<0.01).3.MAS scores:There was a reduction in MAS scores after treatment in both groups, which was statistically significant compared to pre-treatment(P<0.0 1);The difference between the two groups after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.01).The treatment group was better than the control group in terms of improvement in spasticity4.MBI scores:There was a significant statistical difference between the two groups before and after treatment within the group(P<0.0 1).There was a significant statistical difference between the two groups in MBI scores after treatment(P<0.01).5.FMA scores:After treatment, the scores of FM A in both groups were significantly higher than before treatment, and there was a significant statistical difference within the group compari son(P<0.01).The FM A score of the treated group was higher than that of the control group after treatment, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Both the acupuncture meridian sinew nodal points therapy combined with PNF therapy and the conventional acupuncture therapy combined with PNF therapy can effectively treat spastic paralysis of the lower limbs after stroke, and both can improve the muscle spasticity status, motor function of the lower limbs and the activities of daily living.2.The clinical efficacy of acupuncture meridian sinew nodal points therapy combined with PNF therapy for spastic paralysis of the lower limbs after stroke was superior to that of conventional acupuncture therapy combined with PNF therapy, and it was more effective in improving muscle spasticity, motor function of the lower limbs and activities of daily living.
