| Objective:Based on the basic frame of family management style of chronic children, the study developed a family management style assessment scale for school-age children with type1 diabetes, and tested its reliability and validity. The scale was used to investigate the family management style of school-age children with type 1 diabetes, and to analyze its influencing factors,so as to provide a reference for the implementation of targeted intervention measures for school-age children with type 1 diabetes.Method:1.Scale preparation: Guided by the basic frame of family management style of chronic children, through qualitative interviews, literature review, reference to related scales and two rounds of Delphi expert consultation, the initial version of the family management style assessment scale for school-age children with type 1 diabetes was formed.214 parents of school-age children with type 1 diabetes mellitus in a tertiary hospital in Qingdao were selected to test the scale to form a formal scale;2.Scale application: Parents of school-age children with type 1 diabetes who were treated by children’s endocrinology in three tertiary hospitals in Qingdao were selected for investigation, and the family management style of school-age children with type 1diabetes was explored through t-test,variance analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple linear stepwise regression analysis.and its influencing factors.Result:1.Scale preparation(1)Through qualitative interviews, literature review and reference to relevant scales,a scale entry pool with 6 first-level indicators and 55 second-level indicators was formed.(2)Two rounds of expert correspondence were conducted in this study. The overall authority coefficients of experts were 0.91 and 0.91,respectively,and the Kendall harmony coefficients of the degree of coordination of expert opinions were 0.32 and 0.51(P<0.001),respectively.The questionnaire recovery rate was 100%.After the letter inquiries,a total of 7 entries were deleted, and 13 entries were revised and merged. The evaluation scale of family management style for school-age children with type 1 diabetes mellitus consists of 6 subscales(children’s recognition, ease of care, disease management ability, parental identity, disease cognition, daily life strategies),with a total of 39 items..The overall Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of the scale was 0.98,and the test-retest reliability was 0.95.The S-CVI of the scale was 0.97;the method of factor analysis was carried out individually at different levels, and exploratory factor analysis was carried out for the 6 subscales respectively. The explained variances of the factor constructs of each component were 76.53%,65.27%,59.27%,69.20%,67.97% and 61.88%.2.Scale application(1)The average score of the family management style assessment scale for school-age children with type 1 diabetes is 135.62±25.82 points, which is at the middle and upper level, and the family management style is adaptive.(2)The results of multivariate stepwise regression analysis showed that the main factors affecting the family management style of school-age children with type 1 diabetes were the child’s age, disease course, parents’ educational level, family monthly income, occupation, insulin injection method, and regular participation in diabetes prevention and treatment lectures.Seven factors accounted for 93% of the total variance.Conclusion:1.This study completed the preparation of the family management style assessment scale for school-age children with type 1 diabetes. The scale contains six subscales: child recognition, care difficulty, disease management ability, parental identity, and disease cognition, daily life strategies, after the reliability and validity evaluation, the scale has good validity and reliability, and can be used to evaluate the family management style of school-age children with type 1 diabetes.2.The family management style of school-age children with type 1 diabetes is adaptive. The age of the child, the course of the disease, the educational level of the parents, the monthly family income, occupation, the way of insulin injection, and regular participation in diabetes prevention and control lectures are the factors that affect the family management of school-age children with type 1 diabetes.the main factor of the method. |
