| Objective CBCT technology was used to measure in Inner Mongolia was the Han ethnic group 18 to 26,maxillary anterior teeth area lip side gum thickness and lateral thickness of alveolar bone and tooth crown width ratio, analysis of different ethnic groups, different type gum biological differences between gender and gum type the different characteristics between the relevance,is helpful for clinicians to maximize the advantage of the characteristics of periodontal hard and soft tissue,It provides some theoretical reference for clinical treatment in aesthetic area. Methods 60 healthy volunteers with periodontal tissue were selected through consultation and oral clinical examination, including 30 Han and 30 Mongolian. The subjects were all born and live in Inner Mongolia.By CBCT lap isolation way, measuring 360 maxillary anterior teeth labial side glaze teeth bone group(CEJ)gums thickness(GT)and alveolar crest of the root of the 2 mm and 4 mm thickness of alveolar bone, and a tooth crown width ratio(the CW/CL)long,finally obtained through statistical software analysis the relationship between the two ethnic gum biological type related parameters and the similarities and differences. Results The average gingival thickness of different tooth positions in the maxillary anterior region of Mongolian and Han ethnic group was as follows: central incisor >lateral incisor > cusp. When comparing any two tooth positions, the difference between maxillary cusp and maxillary central incisor was statistically significant(P<0.05).The labial gingival thickness of male maxillary anterior teeth was larger than that of female, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The width and length of each tooth crown of Mongolian youth was larger than that of Han youth, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in labial gingival thickness of maxillary anterior region between Mongolian and Han ethnic groups. There was a positive correlation between the labial gingival thickness(GT)and the labial alveolar bone thickness(BT)(r=0.247,P=0.001),and between GT and crown width-length ratio(CW/CL)(r=0.190,P=0.011).There was a positive correlation between the labial gingival thickness(GT)and the labial alveolar bone thickness(BT)(r=0.227,P=0.002)and the crown width-length ratio(CW/CL)(r=0.169,P=0.023).The differences of gingival biotypes between Mongolian and Han youths were statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion The gingival thickness of the maxillary anterior teeth of the Mongolian and Han youths aged 18-26 years old in Inner Mongolia varies greatly with different genders, and the gingival thickness of the male is greater than that of the female. The gingival thickness of maxillary anterior teeth was significantly correlated with the thickness of labial alveolar bone and the ratio of crown width to length. There were significant differences in alveolar bone thickness and crown morphology between the two ethnic groups. There was no significant difference in labial gingival thickness between 18-26 years old Mongolian and Han youths in Inner Mongolia, but the crowns of each tooth position in the maxillary anterior region of Mongolian were wider than those of Han. |
