Clinical Observation Of Fire Needle Combined With Halometasone Cream In The Treatment Of Acral Vitiligo

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of fire needle acupuncture combined with external use of halometasone ointment on patients with acral vitiligo,so as to evaluate the efficacy and safety of this therapy,and to provide a clinical data basis for standardizing fire needle acupuncture combined with halometasone in the treatment of acral vitiligo.Finally,we can popularize the treatment method of fire needle acupuncture combined with halometasone in the treatment of acral vitiligo.Methods:Collect patients with acral vitiligo from the outpatient clinic department of the Southern Medical University Dermatology Hospital from October 2020 to January 2022.Count the patients’ baseline data(sex,age,disease course,leukoplakia location,picture and area of target skin lesions,pigment score of skin lesions,past medical history,etc).Using the random group control method,60 patients with acral vitiligo who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into 2 groups,the treatment group and the control group,with 30 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with fire needling combined with external application of halometasone cream,and the control group was given only external application of halometasone cream.Among them,fire needle acupuncture was treated for 6 times.Halometasone ointment was used externally twice a day for 5 days and then stopped for 2 days.The course of treatment was 12 weeks.In the 4th,8th,and 12th weeks of the treatment process,collect and record the pictures and area of the target skin lesions of the patients,evaluate the vitiligo pigment score,inquire and observe whether there are adverse reactions during the treatment process,and record them strictly.so as to evaluate the curative effect and safety assessment.The data of target skin lesion area and pigment score were analyzed by using SPSS25.0 statistical software.Results:In this study,55 cases(5 cases dropped out during the research process)subjects with acral stable vitiligo completed clinical observation.There were 27 cases in the treatment group and 28 cases in the control group.There was no statistically significant difference between the treatment group and the control group in terms of gender,age,course of disease,skin lesion area,skin lesion pigmentation and other baseline data(P>0.05),the distribution of the subjects in the two groups was reasonable and clinically comparable.After 12 weeks,the total effective rate in the treatment group was 88.89%,and the total effective rate in the control group was 46.43%.The leukoplakia repigmentation area of the treatment group and the control group were compared respectively,the repigmentation area of the treatment group was larger than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the leukoplakia repigmentation degree of the treatment group was greater than that of the control group,and the treatment group had better curative effect.After treatment,there was a significant difference in the skin lesion pigment score between the treatment group and the control group(P<0.05),and the improvement of the skin lesion pigment score in the treatment group was better than that in the control group.Conclusions and significance:First.fire needle acupuncture combined with halometasone and external use of halometasone cream alone have curative effects in the treatment of acral vitiligo.Second,fire needle acupuncture combined with topical halometasone cream in the treatment of acral vitiligo can effectively reduce the area of vitiligo and improve the pigmentation of skin lesions,and the curative effect is better than that of topical halometasone cream alone.Third,Fire acupuncture combined with external use of halometasone cream in the treatment of acral vitiligo is safe,simple,convenient,effective,inexpensive,and has few adverse reactions.It is a traditional Chinese medicine external therapy worthy of promotion for the treatment of acral vitiligo.
