Clinical Study Of Fuzheng Qingdu Decoction Combined With Chemotherapy Intervening In Postoperative Patients With Colorectal Cancer

Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Fuzheng Qingdu Decoction combined with chemotherapy in patients with colorectal cancer after surgery by observing the effect of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome,quality of life,tumor indicators and safety indicators,and to provide theoretical basis for scientific promotion and application.Methods:A total of 92 patients with colorectal cancer were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,46 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with Fuzheng Qingdu decoction combined with CAPEOX regimen,and the control group was treated with CAPEOX regimen alone.The tumor markers of the two groups were compared after each course of treatment.After 8 courses of treatment,the TCM syndrome efficacy,quality of life and safety of the two groups were compared.Results:(1)Fourteen cases were dropped out,including 8 cases in the treatment group and 6 cases in the control group.Finally,78 cases completed the study,including 38 cases in the treatment group and 40 cases in the control group.(2)There was no significant difference in baseline data between the two groups(P>0.05).(3)There was no significant difference in the efficacy of TCM symptoms between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The effective rate was 68.4%in the treatment group and 35.0%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)In terms of tumor markers,there was no significant difference in CEA and CA19-9 between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).(5)In terms of quality of life,there was no significant difference between the two groups in the KPS score and the scores of each field of the quality of life measurement scale before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,compared with the control group,the scores of the treatment group were improved(P<0.05).(6)In terms of safety,there was no significant difference in the incidence of leukopenia,liver and kidney function,peripheral neurotoxicity,hand-foot syndrome,proteinuria and hematuria between the two groups.The treatment group was better than the control group in the incidence and severity of hemoglobin reduction,thrombocytopenia and gastrointestinal reactions(P<0.05).Conclusion:Fuzheng Qingdu decoction combined with CAPEOX regimen in the treatment of postoperative patients with colorectal cancer can effectively improve the TCM syndrome efficacy,improve the quality of life,and reduce the toxic side effects of chemotherapy.
