Research On The Clinical Efficacy Of Homemade Bitongfang Ointment On Patients With Acute Stage Frozen Shoulder

Objective: To explore and verify the treatment of acute scapulohumeral periarthritis with Bitongfang ointment in hospital and the improvement of shoulder joint function,so as to provide clinical practice basis for the treatment of acute scapulohumeral periarthritis with Bitongfang Ointment and promote clinical popularization.Methods: With 35 people in each group,105 patients with acute scapulohumeral periarthritis who met the inclusion criteria were randomly assigned to one of three groups: experimental(group A: routine acupuncture,functional training,and Bitongfang ointment),control(group B: routine acupuncture,functional training,and western medicine voltarin),and routine treatment(group C: routine acupuncture and functional training).Groups A,B,and C received routine acupuncture and functional training,with group A receiving Bitongfang ointment and group B receiving Votaline.After routine disinfection with a 50mm*0.3mm acupuncture needle,the needle is inserted into the tenderness point in front of the shoulder,the Jianjing point,and the Shouzhen point in the treatment hour,and the twisting and diarrhea method is performed.The needle is kept in place for 30 minutes each time,and the treatment is done three times per week,once every other day for two weeks.Climbing the wall with external shoulder rotation and chest expansion against the wall are the main training methods.The exercise frequency is two groups per day,three times per week,and the treatment is every other day for two weeks.Drug use: Before and after treatment,the Constant-Murley shoulder function score(ADL,ROM function,and pain evaluation),UCLA shoulder function score system(shoulder function,pain,and patient satisfaction evaluation),and pain visual analog score(VAS)were used to assess shoulder pain and function improvement,and SPSS23.0 was used to compare the numerical differences between the three groups.Results:(1)There was no statistical difference in sex,age,disease course,or baseline values of outcome indicators(VAS score,UCLA shoulder score,and CMS shoulder function score)between the three groups(P>0.05),but the groups were comparable.(2)VAS score comparison between groups: There was no statistical difference between the experimental and control groups after 2 weeks of treatment(P >0.05).There was a statistical difference between the experimental and routine treatment groups two weeks after treatment(P<0.05).There was a statistically significant difference between the control and routine treatment groups(P<0.05).(3)UCLA shoulder score comparison: After 2 weeks of treatment,there was a statistical difference between the experimental and control groups(P<0.01).There was a statistical difference between the experimental and control groups(P<0.01).There was a statistically significant difference between the control and routine treatment groups(P<0.01).(4)CMS shoulder function score comparison: After 2 weeks of treatment,there was a statistical difference between the experimental and control groups(P<0.05).There was a statistical difference between the experimental and control groups(P<0.01).There was a statistically significant difference between the control and routine treatment groups(P <0.05).Conclusion:(1)Adding homemade Bitongfang ointment to routine treatment for shoulder pain in patients with acute scapulohumeral periarthritis is effective.(2)Following routine acupuncture and functional training,homemade Bitongfang ointment and voltaren were added for external use,with no discernible difference in pain efficacy in patients with acute periarthritis of the shoulder.(3)Adding homemade Bitongfang ointment to routine acupuncture and functional training can improve shoulder function in patients with acute scapulohumeral periarthritis.(4)Homemade Bitongfang ointment can treat shoulder pain,improve shoulder function,and be used for clinical promotion in patients with acute scapulohumeral periarthritis.
