Objective: To explore the risk factors of multi-vessel coronary artery disease in young and middle-aged patients with coronary heart disease(Coronary heart disease,CHD)under 60 years old. Methods: 142 young and middle-aged patients with CHD under 60 years old who were diagnosed by coronary angiography(CAG)in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine of Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture People’s Hospital from Jan 1,2020 to June1,2021 were collected.According to the different number of vessels in coronary artery diseases, the patients were divided into single-vessel lesion group(60 cases)and multi-vessel lesion group(82 cases). The clinical data in the two groups were collected, and the general data and laboratory data between the two groups were compared for statistical analysis.Results:(1)By comparing the general data of the two groups, the proportion of hypertension, hyperlipidemia, smoking and obesity in multi-vessel lesion group was higher than that in single vessel lesion group(P < 0.05);however,there were no significant differences in age, gender, type 2 diabetes mellitus, subclinical hypothyroidism, alcohol consumption and family history of CHD between the two groups(P > 0.05).(2)By comparing the laboratory data of the two groups, eosinophil count, the red blood cell distribution width-standard deviation(RDW-SD),the levels of C-reactive protein, aspartate aminotransferase(AST),triacylglycerol(TG),total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein(LDL-C),free triiodothyronine(FT3)and troponin in the multi-vessel lesion group were higher than those in the single-vessel lesion group(P < 0.05);there were no significant differences in platelet count,High density lipoprotein,White blood cell count,Neutrophil count, lymphocyte count, lymphocyte count/leukocyte count, monocyte count, basophil count, erythrocyte count, erythrocyte concentration, hematocrit, platelet distribution width, fasting blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, alanine aminotransferase, thyrotropin, free thyroxine, creatinine, urea, and uric acid level between the two groups(P > 0.05).(3)Binary logistic regression analysis was carried out to further analyze the clinical data with significant differences, and the results showed that hypertension, smoking, obesity and RDW-SD were independent risk factors for multi-vessel coronary artery disease in young and middle-aged patients under 60 years old. Conclusion: Among the young and middle-aged patients with CHD under 60 years old, compared with patients with single-vessel disease, patients with hypertension, smoking, obesity and high RDW-SD are more likely to suffer from multiple-vessel coronary disease.Hypertension, smoking, obesity and RDW-SD are independent risk factors for multi-vessel coronary artery disease in young and middle-aged patients under60 years old.
