Study On The Pattern Of Medication Use Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Formulas For Cervical Spondylosis And Three Common Cervicogenic Diseases Based On Apriori Algorithm And Cluster Analysis

Objective: The data mining method was used to mine the prescription usage patterns in modern clinical literature for each type of TCM prescriptions for cervical spondylosis and three common cervicogenic diseases,in order to provide a reference basis for clinical treatment of related diseases.Methods: 1.Modern clinical research literature on cervical spondylosis and three common cervicogenic diseases(cervicogenic headache,cervicogenic vertigo,and cervicocardiac syndrome)using TCM prescriptions alone was used as the inclusion criteria,and China Knowledge Network,Wanfang Data,Wipu Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database,China Biomedical Literature Service System and The Cochrane library,Embase,Pubmed,and Eight Chinese and English databases such as Web of Science were used to screen all types of modern clinical literature on TCM prescriptions for the above diseases since the establishment of the database until October 31,2022.2.The relevant prescription data were entered into WPS Office Excel to establish the relevant prescription database.3.WPS Office Excel software was used to conduct drug frequency analysis,SPSS Modeler 18.0 software for association rule analysis based on Apriori algorithm,and SPSS Statistics 26.0 software for clustering analysis to generate new prescriptions for core drug clustering.The TCM inheritance support platform V2.5 software was used to conduct the analysis of sexual flavor and meridian.3.The modern clinical use rules of TCM prescriptions for cervical spondylosis and three common cervical origin diseases were summarized.4.The TCM typing and treatment criteria of cervical spondylosis and three common cervical origin diseases were analyzed and compared with the TCM typing and commonly used prescriptions of each type of clinical literature included in the study.Results: 1.A total of 531 modern clinical literature that met the requirements were finally screened.Including 234 randomized controlled trials(including 174 for cervical spondylosis,9 for cervicogenic headache,48 for cervicogenic vertigo,and 3 for cervicocardiac syndrome)and 297 other types of modern clinical literature(including 235 for cervical spondylosis,5 for cervicogenic headache,48 for cervicogenic vertigo,and 9for cervicocardiac syndrome).2.The results of association rule analysis and cluster analysis based on Apriori algorithm showed that 531 modern clinical literature involved a total of 531 prescriptions(including 409 for cervical spondylosis,14 for cervicogenic headache,96 for cervicogenic vertigo and 12 for cervicocardiac syndrome),548 drugs(including 263 for cervical spondylosis,60 for cervicogenic headache,151 for cervicogenic vertigo and(4 clusters for cervical spondylosis,3 clusters for cervicogenic headache,4 clusters for cervicogenic vertigo,4 clusters for cervicocardiac syndrome).3.The results of the analysis of drug properties and ascriptions showed that the medicinal properties of drugs used in Chinese medicine prescriptions for cervical spondylosis are mostly warm and flat.The taste of drugs is mostly pungent,sweet and bitter.The first four are liver,spleen,heart and stomach meridians.The medicinal properties of drugs used in TCM prescriptions for cervicogenic headache are mostly warm,cold and flat.The drug flavors are mostly pungent,sweet,and bitter.The first four are liver,spleen,stomach,and lung meridians.In the treatment of cervicogenic vertigo,the medicinal properties of the drugs involved in Chinese medicine prescriptions are mostly warm and flat.The taste of drugs is mostly sweet,pungent and bitter.The first 4 of the 12 meridians are liver,spleen,heart and stomach.The medicinal properties of Chinese medicine prescriptions for the treatment of cervical heart syndrome are mainly warm,followed by cold and flat.The taste of drugs is mostly sweet,pungent and bitter.The drug’s meridian involves 12 meridians,with liver,spleen,heart,and kidney meridians being the main ones.Conclusion: 1.The top three drugs in the frequency of TCM prescriptions for cervical spondylosis were Pueraria lobata,Paeonia lactiflora,and Gui Zhi.Pueraria lobata-Gui Zhi and Bai Shao-Gui Zhi were the core drug combinations with high correlation.The top three drugs in the frequency ranking for cervicogenic headache were Chuanxiong,Bai Zhi,and Qiang Wu.Chuanxiong-Bai Zhi and Bai Zhi-Qiang Wu were the core drug combinations with high correlation.The top three drugs ranked for cervicogenic vertigo were Radix et Rhizoma Puerariae,Rhizoma Chuanxiong,and Radix Angelicae Sinensis.Pueraria lobata-Danshen-Tianma,Tianma-Hanxia,and Tianma-Hangteng were the core drug combinations with high correlation.The top three drugs for cervical heart syndrome were Angelica sinensis,Gui Zhi,and Pueraria lobata.Radix Puerariae-Gui Zhi,Radix Puerariae-Bai Shao,and Radix Gui Zhi-Bai Shao were the core drug combinations with high association.2.The TCM subtypes of TCM formulas for cervical spondylosis in the included literature were most frequently of the qi stagnation and blood stasis type and wind-cold-damp type,followed by the liver-kidney deficiency type,qi-blood deficiency type,and phlegm-dampness blocking ligament type.The main treatment method is to benefit qi,invigorate blood stasis,dispel wind and dispel cold,and promote the circulation of the ligaments to relieve pain,and according to the classification of the evidence,the treatment methods are supplemented by activating blood circulation,relieving wind and spasm,releasing paralysis,and nourishing the liver and kidney.Commonly used formulas include Ge Gen Er Teng Tang,Gui Zhi plus Ge Gen Tang,Ge Gen Tang,Bai Shao Mu Gua Ling Xian Tang,Han Xia Bai Zhu Tian Ma Tang,Tian Ma Hook Vine Drink,and Lu Xian Si Worm San.The main treatment for cervicogenic headache is to dispel wind,cold,dampness and qi stagnation and blood stasis,and the main treatment is to dispel wind and relieve symptoms and pain,and at the same time to benefit qi and promote clearing,nourish blood and harmonize luo.The main treatment for cervicogenic vertigo is to dispel wind-cold and dampness and to relieve pain.The main treatment for cervicogenic vertigo is to invigorate the blood and dispel stasis to clear the orifices and relieve pain,and at the same time to tonify the qi and blood,pacify the liver,calm the wind and dispel phlegm and dampness.Commonly used formulas include Tonic Yang Returning Five Soup,Pueraria Mirifica Soup,Radix Bupleurum and Tianma Soup,Tonic Zhong Yi Qi Soup and Angelica Paeoniae San.The main treatment for cervical heart syndrome is to activate blood circulation and relieve pain,and also to benefit qi and nourish yin,warm heart yang,clear fire and nourish the heart,and calm the mind.Most of the commonly used prescriptions are self-prepared.3.For example,the included literature includes four TCM subtypes of cervical spondylosis not explicitly mentioned in the guidelines,as well as TCM prescriptions not included in the guidelines,such as Gui Zhi plus Ge Gen Tang,Ge Gen Tang,Ge Gen Er Teng Tang,Huang Qi Gui Zhi Wu Wu Wu Wu Tang,Tian Ma Hook Vine Drink,Bai Shao Mu Gua Ling Xian Tang,and Lu Xian Si Worm San.The prescriptions.They can be used clinically as a supplement to existing clinical guidelines and expert consensus.The dosing rules,commonly used prescriptions and generated drug clusters of TCM prescriptions for the treatment of cervicogenic headache,cervicogenic vertigo and cervicocardial syndrome can provide references for writing expert consensus and clinical guidelines on the treatment of cervicogenic diseases in TCM.
