Clinical Observation On Peiyuan Huoxue Decoction In The Treatment Of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease With The Syndrome Of Lung And Kidney Qi-deficiency With Blood Stasis

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Peiyuan Huoxue decoction in the treatment of patients with lung and kidney qi deficiency and blood stasis type of stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD),and to evaluate its efficacy and safety,so as to provide evidence-based medical evidence for the clinical treatment of COPD.Methods: A total of 64 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into control group and observation group.The control group was treated with salmeterol fluticasone propionate powder inhalation(Seretide),and the observation group was treated with Peiyuan Huoxue decoction on the basis of the control group for 12 weeks.Before and after treatment,the TCM syndrome score,pulmonary function(FEV1%,FEV1%pred),modified British Medical Research Council(mMRC)dyspnea questionnaire,COPD self-assessment test(CAT)and 6-minute walk distance(6MWD)were observed in the two groups.Results:1.In this study,60 patients were finally completed,including 30 cases in the control group and 30 cases in the observation group.Statistical analysis showed that there was no statistically significant difference in baseline data between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).2.After treatment,the total effective rate of the control group was73.3%,and the total effective rate of the observation group was 93.3%,there were statistical differences between groups(P<0.05).3.After treatment,the total TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were improved,and the improvement degree of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the TCM syndrome scores of the observation group were improved(P<0.05),and the control group only had improvement in wheezing,cough,expectoration,and shortness of breath(P<0.05),but there was no significant improvement in cold,waist and knee soreness,urination frequency,dark complexion,and lip and nail cyanosis(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the improvement of cough,expectoration and shortness of breath between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05),but the observation group had better effects in wheezing,easy cold,waist and knee soreness,urination frequency,dark complexion and cyanosis of lip and nail(P<0.05).4.The pulmonary function(FEV1%,FEV1%pred)of the two groups before and after treatment were significantly improved(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the mMRC score,CAT score and 6MWD of the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the improvement of mMRC score,CAT score and 6MWD in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).5.There were no obvious adverse reactions in the two groups during treatment.Conclusion: Peiyuan Huoxue decoction combined with Seretide can effectively improve the symptoms of wheezing,cough and sputum in patients with lung and kidney qi deficiency and blood stasis type of COPD in the stable stage,significantly reduce mMRC score and CAT score,increase 6MWD,improve exercise endurance and reduce dyspnea.Peiyuan Huoxue decoction is safe and effective in the treatment of COPD,which is worthy of further promotion in clinical practice.
