| Objective: Cite Space 6.1.R6 visualization software was used to sort out and summarize the literature data related to the treatment of AD with traditional Chinese medicine,explore the current research overview in this field,and analyze its research evolution trend,research hot spots and potential commonalities,so as to provide reference for relevant researchers in this field.Methods: By searching the CNKI and WOSCC databases from the establishment of the database to November 2022,the publication time,journals,institutions,countries,authors,keywords and other information of the literature related to the treatment of AD by traditional Chinese medicine were summarized and sorted out,and the relevant co-occurrence,co-citation,cluster analysis and other knowledge maps were drawn to understand the overall development characteristics and trends of this research field at home and abroad.Results:1.The CNKI and WOSCC databases in this field included 1550 and 545 articles respectively,and the overall trend of annual publication volume showed a fluctuating increase.2.China-centered multi-country cooperation and exchange groups have been formed internationally,and the research institutions are mainly Chinese medicine colleges and their affiliated hospitals.The number of papers issued by the institution was the highest in Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,but the centrality of the institution was low.The institutions with greater influence are mainly Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine,China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences,etc.The intensity of cooperation between them is low,and cross-regional and cross-institutional cooperation still needs to be strengthened.3.Wang Ping,Zhou Zhongguang,Wang Qi,Shi Jing,etc.were the authors with high volume of papers in this field,forming several large research groups,such as Zhou Zhongguang’s team of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Shi Jing and Tian Jinzhou’s team of Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Wang Qi’s team of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Bi Kaishun’s team of Shenyang Pharmaceutical University.These teams have high influence and promote the research process of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of AD.4.The research hotspots and frontiers in this field include traditional Chinese medicine monomers and active ingredients,the related mechanism and clinical research of traditional Chinese medicine compound in the treatment of AD;the main Chinese medicine monomers are Acorus tatarinowii,Ginseng,Salvia miltiorrhiza,Polygala tenuifoila,Polygonum multiflorum,Ginkgo biloba extract,etc.Compound to Dihuang Yinzi,Sijunzi Decoction,Dabuyuan Decoction;the mechanism research mainly focuses on neuroinflammation,intestinal flora,apoptosis and oxidative stress.Clinical research focuses on efficacy observation,systematic evaluation,and summary of medication rules.Research methods are mostly combined with modern technologies,such as network pharmacology,data mining,molecular docking,metabolomics,etc.,which promote the modernization and internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of AD.Conclusion(s):1.The overall volume of publications in this field has increased involatility,suggesting that researchers are paying more and more attention to it.2.At present,a multinational cooperation and exchange group centered on China has been formed internationally.Most of the prolific and active authors are scholars from Chinese universities,research institutions are mainly major Chinese medicine colleges and their affiliated hospitals,authors and institutional cooperation is mainly carried out intern-ally,core authors and institutions are relatively lacking,and cross-team,cross-institution,cross-regional cooperation is less.3.The hot frontiers in this field are mainly the relevant mechanisms and clinical research of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of AD,and it is the mainstream trend to carry out relevant research in combination with modern advanced technology methods.The main Chinese medicines and compounds involved include calamus,Yuanzhi,Ginkgo biloba leaf extract,Rehmannia drink,Sijunzi soup,etc.;Among them,neuroinflammation,intestinal flora,apoptosis,and oxidative stress may be the research hotspots in this field in recent years.Data mining,molecular docking or emerging research methods in recent years;Hot spot signaling pathways include PI3K/Akt,NF-κB,Nrf2/HO-1,BDNF-Trk B. |
