| Objective: Through Citespace scientometrics software,we conducted a study on Chinese medicine for Parkinson’s at home and abroad,analyzed the scientific cooperation distribution,disciplinary distribution,and research themes in this field,explored the research lineage in the field of Chinese medicine for Parkinson’s disease,analyzed its disciplinary structure,and provided theoretical reference and reference for future in-depth research in this field.METHODS: In this paper,scientific dosimetry was used to analyze the literature on TCM for Parkinson’s from Web Of Science and China Knowledge Network(CNKI)since the establishment of the database to 2022 using scientific collaborative network analysis,literature co-citation analysis,keyword clustering analysis,art word clustering analysis and keyword emergent analysis to produce scientific knowledge maps.Results:1 A total of 317 papers related to TCM for Parkinson’s disease were retrieved from the Web Of Science database,and a total of 3975 papers were obtained after making a citation index.The top three institutions in terms of total number of publications were the Chinese Academy of Sciences,Kyung Hee University and China Medical University.At present,the international research field of TCM for Parkinson’s disease is mainly focused on "molecular,biological and immunological".The research direction is focused on mechanism research and clinical research.Mechanistic research mainly involves alpha-synuclein misfolding and aggregation,mitochondrial dysfunction,impaired protein clearance,oxidative stress,neuroinflammation,and apoptosis.Clinical studies mainly involve randomized controlled trial studies.2 A total of 1446 papers were retrieved from the data of China Knowledge Network,with the largest number of papers issued by Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.The research direction of domestic TCM treatment of Parkinson’s disease is mainly divided into clinical research and mechanism research.The clinical research is mainly divided into typology research and medication research,and the research on the evidence type is more concerned with the deficiency of essence and symptoms,deficiency of qi and blood,and deficiency of liver and kidney yin,and the research on the medication is more concerned with the definite tremor drink,Dihuang Yinzi,and sour date soup.The mechanism studies focus on oxidative stress,inflammatory response,brain-gut axis,neurotransmitters and autophagy.Conclusion(s):1 The current structure of the scientific collaboration spectrum in the field of TCM for Parkinson’s disease is loosely structured,suggesting that partnerships between research institutions should be strengthened to jointly promote the development of the field.2 International research on TCM for Parkinson’s disease has focused on the microscopic level,and researchers have used genomics,metabolomics,and network pharmacology to conduct research,which has to some extent promoted the modernization of the field of TCM for Parkinson’s disease,but researchers still need to pay attention to the fact that TCM should take advantage of its multi-target,dialectical treatment,and dynamic adjustment.3 Domestic research themes in the field of TCM for Parkinson’s disease are characterized by diversity,and in recent years,clinical research in the field of TCM,including evidence-based research and medication research,has introduced new scientific methods in the field of computers,and this exchange and cooperation between different disciplines has contributed to the development of the discipline. |
