Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Sympathetic Cervical Spondylosis By Wei Guikang’s Three-step Manipulation And Tongan Decoction

Objective: To treat patients with sympathetic cervical spondylosis through "Wei Guikang’s three-step manipulation" combined with "Tongan Decoction" created by Chinese medical master Professor Wei Guikang.This study observed the changes of VAS score,CSSEQ cervical sympathetic symptom score,NDI cervical dysfunction index and CASCS Cervical spondylosis clinical Evaluation scale before and after treatment,and compared them with conventional acupuncture therapy and stele ganglion block.To evaluate whether "Wei Guikang’s three-step manipulation combined with Tongan Decoction" can relieve the clinical symptoms and improve the quality of life in the treatment of sympathetic cervical spondylosis,and to evaluate its efficacy.Methods: From January 2022 to December 2022,90 patients from Weiguikang TCM Master Hall and orthopedic Clinic of Ruikang Hospital Affiliated to Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected and randomly divided into three single-blind groups according to the order of treatment: The observation group was Wei Guikang’s three-step manipulation combined with Tongan Decoction group,the conventional acupuncture group was control group(1),and the stellate ganglion block group was control group(2).,with 30 cases in each group.Observation group was treated once every 2 days,about 15 min each time,14 days as a course of treatment,at the same time,combined with internal administration of Tongan decoction,1 dose a day,14 pay as a course of treatment,a course of treatment.Control group(1)and control group(2)were treated once every 2 days,about35 min each time,14 days as a course of treatment,a course of treatment.VAS score,CSSEQ cervical sympathetic symptom score,NDI cervical dysfunction index and CASCS Cervical spondylosis Clinical Evaluation Scale before and after treatment were recorded and compared for evaluation,so as to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of the three groups.Results: 1.Comparison between the three groups before treatment: VAS score,CSSEQ score,NDI index and CASCS score of the three groups before treatment were compared between the three groups,and the results showed no statistical significance(P>0.05).2.Intra-group comparison of the three groups before and after treatment: VAS score,CSSEQ score,NDI index and CASCS score of the three groups were compared after treatment and before treatment,indicating that the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Comparison between the three groups after treatment:(1)VAS score,CSSEQ score and NDI index were compared between the three groups after treatment,and the results showed no statistical significance(P>0.05);(2)CASCS scores of observation group and control group(2)were compared with those of control group(1)after treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The observation group and the control group(2)were compared in CASCS score after treatment,indicating no statistical significance(P>0.05).Conclusion(s): 1.All the three treatments can effectively treat sympathetic cervical spondylosis;2.Wei Guikang’s three-step manipulation combined with Tongan Decoction can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of sympathetic cervical spondylosis and improve the quality of life of patients;3.In the field of sympathetic cervical spondylosis,the efficacy of Wei Guikang’s three-step manipulation combined with Tongan Decoction is equivalent to that of stellate ganglion block,and both are superior to conventional acupuncture.
