Clinical Observation Of Acupuncture Combined With Du Moxibustion In The Treatment Of Diarrhea Type Irritable Bowel Syndrome (Spleen Deficiency And Dampness Syndrome)

Objective: In this study,acupuncture combined with Du moxibustion was used as the research object to observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with Du moxibustion in the treatment of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome with spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome,which provided new ideas and treatment methods for clinical treatment of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome with spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome.Methods: A total of 64 patients with diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome with spleen deficiency and dampness were randomly divided into treatment group(acupuncture combined with Du moxibustion group)and control group(pinaverium bromide group),32 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with acupuncture combined with Du moxibustion.The acupuncture points were : Zhongwan,Guanyuan and bilateral Tianshu,Zusanli,Yinlingquan,Shangjuxu,Sanyinjiao,6 times a week for 4 weeks;Du moxibustion was performed on the back Du meridian and its vicinity,twice a week for 4 weeks.The control group was treated with pinaverium bromide orally,3 times a day,1 tablet each time,for 4 weeks.IBS-SSS score,IBS-QOL score and TCM syndrome score were performed before and after treatment in both groups.The collected data were statistically analyzed to compare the clinical efficacy of the two treatment methods for diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome.Results: 1.Comparison before treatment : There was no significant difference in gender,age,course of disease,IBS-SSS score,IBS-QOL score and TCM syndrome score between the two groups(P>0.05),which was clinically comparable.2.IBS-SSS score :(1)IBS-SSS total score : There were significant differences in IBS-SSS scores between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and the improvement in the treatment group was greater than that in the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in terms of symptom improvement.(2)IBS-SSS scores :After treatment,the degree of abdominal pain,the frequency of abdominal pain,the degree of abdominal distension,the satisfaction of defecation and the degree of life interference were improved in both groups,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The treatment group was superior to the control group in improving the degree of abdominal pain,abdominal pain frequency,defecation satisfaction and life interference,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in improving the degree of abdominal distension(P>0.05).3.IBS-QOL score : There were significant differences in IBS-QOL scores between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and the improvement in the treatment group was greater than that in the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the quality of life.4.TCM syndrome score : There were significant differences in TCM syndrome scores between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and the improvement of the treatment group was greater than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Clinical efficacy analysis : After treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33 %.The total effective rate of the control group was 77.42 %,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).It shows that acupuncture combined with Du moxibustion is more effective in treating diarrhea-type irritable bowel syndrome with spleen deficiency and dampness.Conclusion : Acupuncture combined with Du moxibustion can improve TCM symptoms,IBS-SSS score and IBS-QOL score in patients with diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome of spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome.It has definite curative effect and high safety,which is worthy of promotion.
