Objective:This study aims to observe the analgesic effect of umbilical needle on moderate cancer pain of lung cancer, explore the advantages of umbilical needle in the treatment of cancer pain and improve the quality of life of patients, and provide more evidence for its clinical application and promotion,so as to improve the social benefits of traditional Chinese medicine. Methods: Sixty patients with lung cancer pain who met the inclusion criteria and were treated in the inpatient Department of Oncology,Ruikang Hospital Affiliated to Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January to December 2022 were selected, and randomly divided into control group and treatment group with 30 cases in each group using random number generated by SPSS26.0.Control group: on the basis of routine antitumor therapy and related nursing, oral oxycodone hydrochloride sustained release tablets were given.Treatment group: On the basis of control group was given umbilical needle treatment. The control group was treated for 7 consecutive days as a course of treatment,a total of 2 courses of treatment. The treatment group was treated once a day for 5 consecutive times as a course of treatment, and continued to the next course of treatment after 2 days of rest,a total of 2courses of treatment. The curative effect was evaluated after the course of treatment.During the treatment,if the patient has explosive pain, use morphine hydrochloride injection to relieve it,other than any other analgesic drugs or treatment means are prohibited. The analgesic effect was evaluated by pain digital grading method(NRS score)and the occurrence of pain outbreak. The improvement of life quality and behavior status was evaluated by QOL rating scale of life quality and KPS rating scale before and after treatment. The efficacy was evaluated according to the efficacy evaluation criteria formulated by the National Committee of Traditional Chinese Medicine Cancer. To analyze and evaluate the efficacy and safety of umbilical needle in treating moderate cancer pain of lung cancer. Results: 1.Comparison of post-treatment pain score(NRS score). After treatment, the pain scores of both groups were significantly improved compared with those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the improvement of pain score in the treatment group was better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Comparison of pain episodes during treatment.During the treatment period, the number of pain outbreaks in both groups was reduced, with statistical difference(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the incidence of outburst pain in the treatment group was less, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Comparison of post-treatment quality of life(QOL score). After treatment, the life quality scores of the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05).The quality of life score of the treatment group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05).4.Comparison of post-treatment behavior status score(KPS).After treatment, the behavioral status scores of the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment, and the treatment group was better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).5.Comparison of curative effect after treatment. The total effective rate of the treatment group was 90%,which was better than that of the control group(73.3%),and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).6.Comparison of the incidence of adverse reactions after treatment. After treatment, adverse reactions occurred in both groups, and the incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion(s):1.On the basis of oral three-step analgesic drugs, the analgesic effect of umbilical needle therapy on patients with moderate cancer pain of lung cancer is better than that of the control group with oral painkiller alone, which has good clinical promotion value.2.Umbilical needle therapy combined with three-step analgesic drugs can effectively improve patients’ behavior and improve their quality of life.3.Umbilical needle therapy is safe and reliable in alleviating adverse reactions such as nausea, vomiting and constipation caused by anticancer treatment or taking painkillers.
