The Expression Of CMTM6 And PDGFR In Papillary Thyroid Cancinoma And Clinical Significance

Objectives To investigate the expression of CKLF-like MARVEL transmembrane domain containing member 6(CMTM6)and Platelet-derived factor Receptor-β(PDGFR-β)in Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma(PTC)and Nodular Goiter(NG),and explore their correlation to clinicopathological features of PTC.Methods 52 pathological specimens with surgical treatment and pathologically confirmed diagnosis of PTC between January 2019 and December 2020 from the Affiliated Hospital of North China University of Science and Technology were collected as the experimental group,and 41 pathological specimens of NG were used as the control group for the same period.Immunohistochemistry was applied to detect the expression of CMTM6 and PDGFR-β in PTC and NG.Results 1 The positive rates of CMTM6 and PDGFR-β in PTC were up to 71.2% and69.2%,respectively,and the positive rates of CMTM6 and PDGFR-β in NG were 22.2%and 26.8% respectively.The positive rates of CMTM6 and PDGFR-β in PTC were higher than that of NG,and the differences were significant after chi-square test analysis(P<0.05).2 The positive expression rates of CMTM6 and PDGFR-β in PTC with envelope invasion and lymph node metastasis were higher than those in PTC without envelope invasion and lymph node metastasis,and the difference was significant(P<0.05).3 The expression of CMTM6 and PDGFR-β in PTC was independent of patients’ age,gender,diameter of the tumor,number of lesions,and Hashimoto’s thyroiditis.Conclusions 1 CMTM6 and PDGFR-β were expressed in PTC and NG,and the difference between the two groups were significant(P<0.05).2 The expression of CMTM6 and PDGFR-β in PTC was correlated.3 The expression of CMTM6 and PDGFR-β in PTC was associated with envelope invasion and lymph node metastasis,which was not associated with the patients’ age,gender,diameter of the tumor,number of lesions,or Hashimoto’s thyroiditis.Figure 8;Table 5;Reference 165...
