| Objectives To observe the clinical efficacy of dong’s extra acupoints combined with bloodletting and traction acupuncture in the treatment of blood stasis type of low back pain,to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of the therapy, and to provide a basis for the application of this therapy in the clinical setting. Methods Selected 70 patients with low back pain with blood stasis type who met the inclusion criteria from December 2020 to December 2021 in the outpatient department of the Acupuncture and Moxibustion Department of Baoding No.1 Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, and were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group, with 35 people in each group. The treatment group was given dong’s extra acupoints combined with bloodletting and traction acupuncture, with acupoints selected from Linggu and Dabai point on the healthy side,Weizhong and the surrounding pathological veins and Ashi point on the affected side,Linggu and Dabai point were inserted against the bone, together with holographic moving-qi acupuncture method,Ashi point was needled after starting the acupuncture, and Weizhong point and the surrounding pathological veins were pricked and released by the method of pricking.Bloodletting treatment 2 times a week, one pricking of blood on the day of consultation, another pricking of blood at an interval of 2 days, and the remaining 4 days the Weizhong point was pricked use acupuncture needles. In the control group, the acupuncture points were selected from Shenshu,Dachangshu,Geshu, and the affected side of Weizhong and Ashi point, and the acupuncture points were used routinely. Both groups were treated once a day,6 days a week, for 3 weeks. The changes in VAS score, lumbar spine range of motion(ROM),TCM syndrome score, and JOA lower back pain score were compared between the two groups before and after treatment, and statistical treatment was performed use SPSS 24.0.Results 1 The differences in age, gender and duration of disease between the two groups were not statistically significant(P > 0.05)and were comparable.2 VAS score:after treatment, the scores decreased in both groups compared with those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05);there was a statistically significant difference between the groups after treatment(P < 0.05).3 Lumbar ROM:after treatment, the angles of lumbar ROM increased in both groups compared with those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05);there was a statistically significant difference between the groups after treatment(P < 0.05).4 TCM syndrome score: the points decreased compared with that before treatment in both groups after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);there was a statistically significant difference between the groups after treatment(P < 0.05).5 JOA low back pain score: the scores improved in both groups after treatment compared with those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);there was a statistically significant difference between the groups after treatment(P < 0.05).6Overall efficacy: the effective rate was 94.29% in the treatment group and 74.28% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusions Dong’s extra acupoints combined with bloodletting and traction acupuncture can improve VAS score, lumbar ROM,TCM syndrome score, and JOA low back pain score in patients with blood stasis type of low back pain, which can significantly relieve lumbar pain, improve lumbar joint dysfunction, reduce stasis symptoms, and improve daily living ability, and no adverse reactions occurred, worthy of wide application.Figure0;Table15;Reference99... |
