| Three years into the novel coronavirus outbreak, health communication has drawn special attention. The proposal of the "Healthy China 2030" strategy also proves that China attaches great importance to health communication. On January 8,2023,with the removal of travel codes and health codes, the novel coronavirus shifted from Class A to Class B,ushering in a huge inflection point in epidemic prevention and control.Due to excessive changes in epidemic prevention and control policies and people’s psychological fear around the turning point, the demand for health information surged. As the rural population in Shandong Province accounts for a large proportion, the health information dissemination in rural areas directly affects the implementation of "Healthy China" strategy in Shandong Province. Therefore,it is of great significance to study the contact and use of health information in rural areas of Shandong Province.Taking the village of Lizhai in Shandong province as an example, this thesis adopts the research methods of field investigation, questionnaire and in-depth interview, the use of health information and the satisfaction of needs of villagers were investigated before and after the inflection point of the epidemic on January 8.Questionnaires were distributed before and after the change of epidemic policy,375 and 327 valid questionnaires were collected respectively, and SPSS 26.0 data analysis software was used, the purpose of this study was to explore the degree of attention, the type of health information, the motivation of using health information and the satisfaction of health information needs of villagers.Eleven representative villagers were selected to conduct in-depth interviews before and after the inflection point of the epidemic policy to supplement the problems that could not be quantified in the questionnaire. The study found that after the change of the epidemic policy, the villagers attention to health information showed an obvious upward trend, and to health knowledge popular science, rural medical policy, drug prices and safety concerns have increased. However, the degree of satisfaction of villagers with health information has a declining trend, especially the authority and trust of the official mainstream media. In health information use behavior, compared with the health information content into the actual life, more villagers are satisfied with the desire to share, willing to spread useful information to close people. In order to explore the influencing factors of health information use among villagers, the population characteristics such as gender and age were analyzed quantitatively, and it was found that the attention of villagers to health information showed a bipolar trend, young people and old people pay more attention, but the young and middle-aged people pay less attention. The villagers aged 18-30 pay the most attention to the information of“Health knowledge popularization”,the villagers aged 51-60 paid more attention to the information of rural cooperative medical care policy, and the villagers aged18-30 were more satisfied with the health information than those aged over 30.There were also differences in age, educational level and income level in the trust channel of obtaining health information. Finally, according to the results of two questionnaires and interviews, the problems and dilemmas of villagers using health information before and after the change of epidemic policies were summarized, and from the personal level, media environment and social support of the three aspects of the cause analysis, and finally put forward the corresponding optimization recommendations. |
