ObjectiveTo study the anatomical etiology of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS)by using the minics 21.0 to reconstruct the 3D CT of the upper airway of patients with OSAHS.MethodsA total 40 patients in the Department of Respiratory Diseases of JiangXi Provincal people’s Hospital who accepted the polysomnography(PSG)tests in October 2021 to February 2023,divided patients into two groups through inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, one named experimental group the patients are diagnosed with sever OSAHS(n=20),another named contrast group are non-OSAHS patients(n=20).To reconstruct all patients 3D CT of the upper airway by using the minics 21.0,cut off the relevant plane and calcalated the cross-sectional area, repeat the above three times,to gather the age, height, weight and Body Mass Index(BMI)of all patients,SPSS statistics 22.0 was used for data analysis-According to different data type,t test or χ2 test was used for data comparison betweet to groups.Pearson correlation coefficient was used to analyze factors of OSAHS patients.ResultsThere was no statistical difference in patients’ body weight, physical stature, neck circumference and BMI in experimental group and contrast group(P>0.05),but in experimental group, can see an obvious stenosis after having reconstructed the 3D CT,calculated the cross-sectional area and the same plane of contrast group, there was statistical difference in cross-sectional area(P<0.05),and the cross-sectional area of experimental group was correlated negatively with body weight, neck circumference and BMI(r=-0.608,-0.716,-0.631,,P<0.05).ConclusionThe OASHS patients had an anatomic stenosis in the upper airway, and as the body weight, neck circumference and BMI increases, the stenosis increases.
