Development And Application Of Genetic Risk Perception,Attitude And Behavior Questionnaire For Breast Cancer Patients And Their Relatives

Objective(1)This study to develop genetic risk perception,attitude and behavior questionnaire for breast cancer patients and their relatives,to provide a scientific evaluation tool for the evaluation of genetic risk perception,attitude and behavior of breast cancer patients and their relatives.(2)Through the questionnaire,this study investigated the genetic risk perception,attitude,behavior current situation and influencing factors of breast cancer patients and their relatives,so as to provide a theoretical basis for health education on genetic risk of breast cancer and improving the health-related decision-making ability of breast cancer family members.Methods(1)Questionnaire development: through literature search,qualitative interview,group discussion and expert correspondence,this study developed the questionnaire on genetic risk perception,attitude and behavior of breast cancer patients and their relatives within the framework of KAP theory and risk perception theory,then conducted a pre survey,reliability and validity test.(2)Questionnaire application: from November 2021 to January 2022,breast cancer patients and their relatives in a genetic hospital in Changsha were selected by multistage sampling.The questionnaire was used to investigate the current situation and analyze the influencing factors.SPSS24.0 was used for data analysis.The statistical methods included two independent sample t-test,single factor analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.Results(1)The questionnaire contains 3 dimensions: risk perception,belief and behavior,with a total of 38 items.Among them,the number of items in the three dimensions is 16,12 and 10 respectively.The total questionnaire Cronbach’s α is 0.904 and S-CVI/Ave is 0.967,exploratory factor analysis conforms to the logical relationship.The contribution rate of cumulative variance is 64.527%,which has good reliability and validity.(2)Risk perception,attitude and behavior current situation and influencing factors results: The risk perception dimension scores of 210 breast cancer patients and relatives were(11.70 ± 3.031),the belief dimension scores were(43.63 ± 4.583),and the behavior dimension scores were(43.30 ± 6.362);Influencing factors of risk perception,belief and Practice :The single factor analysis showed that the influencing factors of risk perception dimensions were education level,marital status and knowledge sources(P <0.05).The influencing factors of belief dimension were marital status and knowledge sources(P < 0.05);The influencing factors of behavior dimension were identity,marital status,gender and knowledge sources(P < 0.05);Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the main influencing factors of risk perception dimensions were educational level and marital status(P < 0.01).The main influencing factors of belief dimension were marital status(P < 0.01);The main influencing factors of behavior dimension were family relationship,gender(P < 0.05).Conclusions(1)The genetic risk perception,attitude and behavior questionnaire for breast cancer patients and relatives has good reliability and validity,and can be used to assess the risk perception,attitude and behavior of breast cancer patients and relatives.(2)Risk perception,attitude and behavior of breast cancer patients and relatives need to be improved.The main influencing factors of risk perception dimensions include education level and marital status.the main influencing factors of belief dimension include marital status,the main influencing factors of behavior dimension are family relationships and gender.
