Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Non-obese Polycystic Ovary Syndrome(Kidney Deficiency And Liver Depression Syndrome) By Combinging Yangjing Shugan Decoction And Daying-35

ObjectiveThe goal of this study was to evaluate the clinical effectiveness and safety of Yangjing Shugan Decoction in combination with Diane-35 for the treatment of non-obese polycystic ovary syndrome（kidney deficiency and liver depression syndrome）,in order to offer clinical treatment strategies and methods.MethodsFrom December 2021 to December 2022,60 patients with non-obese PCOS who were enrolled in the gynecology clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of the Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly assigned to one of two groups.The control group was given Daying-35 orally and the observation group was given Yangjing Shugan Decoction+Daying-35+Daying-35 orally for 3 consecutive courses of treatment.By observing and recording the TCM syndrome score,hirsutism and acne score,serological indexes（FSH,LH,LH/FSH,E₂,T）,ovarian volume,number of sinus follicles,and routinely monitoring the changes of safety indexes in the two groups,the clinical efficacy and safety of Yangjing Shugan Decoction were examined.Results1.General information and baseline dataA total of 60 cases were actually finished for this project.Before treatment,there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups’data（P>0.05）,and they were comparable.2.TCM syndrome scoreIn terms of improving TCM syndromes,both groups’scores were significantly reduced compared with those before（P<0.01）,and the scores of the observation group were considerably lowered（P<0.01）;The scores of TCM symptoms of the observation group did not change significantly after 3 months of drug withdrawal compared with those after treatment（P>0.05）,while the points of TCM symptoms of the control group increased significantly after 3 months of drug withdrawal（P<0.01）.3.Acne and hirsutism scoreWhen it came to the performance of treating acne,scores were lower in the observation group compared to the control group（P<0.01）;when it came to the performance of treating hirsutism,scores were lower in the observation group compared to pre-treatment（P<0.05）;there was no significant change in the scores in the control group（P>0.05）.4.Serum sex hormone levelsIn terms of controlling sex hormone levels,serum LH,T,and LH/FSH values decreased in both groups when compared to before（P<0.01）,whereas serum E₂levels rose when compared to before（P<0.05）,and serum FSH levels were not altered significantly（P>0.05）.Also,there was a significant difference between the observation group and control group in terms of how LH and LH/FSH values changed（P<0.01）.5.Number of antral follicles and ovarian volumeThe number of antral follicles dropped in both groups（P<0.05）and the ovarian volume reduced in both groups（P<0.01）,with the shift being more pronounced in the observation group（P<0.05）in terms of the patients’ovarian polycystic state.6.Efficacy of TCM syndromesThe total effective rate of TCM symptoms at the conclusion of the treatment was70.00%in the control group and 86.67%in the observation group.The observation group had a higher efficacy of TCM symptoms than the other group,and there was a statistical difference between the two groups（P<0.05）.7.Comprehensive efficacyThe total effective rate of the control group was 56.67%,which was lower than the total effective rate of the observation group,which was 73.33%.This difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）,indicating that the observation group had a higher overall efficacy than the control group.ConclusionThe combination of Yangjing Shugan Decoction and Diane-35 has a definite effect on non-obese PCOS patients with kidney deficiency and liver depression syndrome.It can effectively improve TCM syndromes,acne and hirsutism,reduce serum LH and T levels,increasing serum E₂levels,regulating the abnormally high LH/FSH ratio,reducing the number of antral follicles and enlarging ovarian volume in non-obese PCOS patients.It is safe and reliable and worthy of clinical promotion.
