| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of the method of nourishing yin and draining liver and fire combined with comprehensive health management in the treatment of precocious puberty in girls,and to determine the safety and efficacy of the method of nourishing yin and draining liver and fire combined with comprehensive health management in the treatment of precocious puberty in girls by using the symptom scores,TCM symptom scores,laboratory and imaging examinations before and after treatment,so as to provide TCM diagnostic and treatment ideas and treatment plans for the early treatment and prevention of further development of precocious puberty in girls.Methods: Sixty-six children who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria and whose guardians agreed to voluntarily join the study were recruited and divided into two groups according to the randomized number table method: the Chinese herbal soup group was given the self-prepared formula of nourishing yin and draining liver and dispersing fire orally and comprehensive health management,and the Chinese patent medicine group was given Danjuania Zunyao Wan orally and comprehensive health management.The clinical efficacy and safety were observed for six months.Results:(1)Total response rate: From the perspective of overall curative effect,both Chinese medicine decoction group and Chinese patent medicine group could improve the symptoms of children with precocious liver inflammation to a certain extent.After testing,the total effective rate of Chinese medicine decoction group was higher than that of Chinese patent medicine group(P=0.025).(2)Main diseases: TCM decoction group and Chinese patent medicine group can improve the breast stage and breast tenderness of children with precocious puberty(P <0.01,P <0.01),and the effect of TCM decoction group is more obvious than Chinese medicine group(P <0.01);TCM decoction group can reduce ovarian volume(P=0.047,P=0.037),while Chinese medicine group has no obvious effect in reducing ovarian volume;in improving vaginal secretions,TCM decoction group and no definite effect(P> 0.05).(3)Disease: Both Chinese medicine decoction group and Chinese patent medicine group could alleviate the second disease of children with precocious puberty(P <0.01).Among them,the efficacy of Chinese medicine decoction group was higher than that of Chinese patent medicine group in improving the symptoms of facial hot flashes and multiple dreams at night(P <0.01),and the two groups had similar efficacy in other aspects(P> 0.05).(4)Sex hormones: the TCM decoction group had a significant effect in reducing LH level(P <0.01),but no effect on regulating FSH level(P> 0.05);there was no significant difference between LH level and FSH level before and after treatment in the Chinese patent medicine group(P> 0.05).(5)Other aspects: There was no statistical difference in body weight before and after treatment between Chinese medicine decoction group and Chinese patent medicine group(P> 0.05),Height and BMI changed significantly before and after treatment(P <0.01);There were statistical difference in bone age index in TCM decoction group(P <0.01),There was no statistical difference in the bone age index before and after treatment in the Chinese patent medicine group(P=0.693);During the comparison between the two groups,Similar efficacy in improving height,weight and BMI(P values greater than 0.05),The efficacy of TCM decoction group was higher in delaying bone age and improving bone age index than that of Chinese patent medicine group(P=0.049,P<0.01).Conclusion:(1)The self-developed formula of "nourishing Yin,draining liver and dispersing nodules" can effectively improve the symptoms of breast development and relieve breast tenderness in children with precocious puberty,and has more obvious advantages in improving the general symptoms of liver stagnation and fire.(2)The self-developed formula of "Nourishing Yin,Draining Liver and Dispersing Nodules" can effectively reduce the LH level and play a role in suppressing the gonad,which can effectively slow down the rate of bone age progression and not suppress the height growth rate of children with precocious puberty while suppressing the sexual development process of children with precocious puberty. |
