Objective:By observing the clinical effect of Tongqiao Quyu Decoction on postoperative recovery of children snoring,we hope to provide new ideas for improving postoperative clinical treatment of children snoring. Methods:Children with snoring were selected from January 2022 to December 2022 after low-temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation in the inpatient department of Otolaryngology Department of Lu ’an Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Anhui Province, and 60 cases meeting the inclusion criteria were male and female. Before surgery, all the children were screened for safety indicators by the deputy director of our department or above, and then randomly divided into Tongqiao Quyu Decoction group(study group)and basic treatment group(control group)using random number table, with 30 cases in each group.General data of the patients(gender, age, operation duration, tonsil enlargement grade, adenoid hyperplasia and different proportions of posterior nostril, etc.)were collected. The score of visual analog scale, pharynx score, the time of pseudo-film shedding in the operative area, the value of physical and chemical indexes and the incidence of adverse reactions were observed after treatment, and the results of the above indexes were analyzed by statistical methods to evaluate the clinical efficacy. Results:In this study,58 cases were actually completed and 2 cases were shed, including 1 case in the study group and 1 case in the control group. After treatment,VAS pain score, pharynx score and pseudomedullation time in the operative area of the study group were significantly lower than those of the control group, with statistical significance(Psuggesting that the study group had a significant effect in improving postoperative symptoms and signs of children. After treatment, inflammatory indexes such as white blood cell count,CRP and neutrophil count were decreased in the two groups compared with the second day,and inflammatory indexes such as white blood cell count,CRP and neutrophil count in the study group were lower than those in the control group on the second and fifth day after surgery, the difference was statistically significant(Psuggesting clinical efficacy in both groups. In addition, the study group had a more significant effect in improving the postoperative inflammatory state of children. No serious adverse reactions were found in both groups during treatment. Conclusion:Tongqiao Quyu Decoction can reduce postoperative inflammatory indicators in children with snoring, relieve postoperative pain and pharyngeal mucosal edema and congestion, improve postoperative quality of life in children, and effectively help children recover after surgery. In addition,no adverse reactions occurred in this study, which has verified its effectiveness and safety, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
