Clinical Observation Of Self-made Acne Decoction Combined With Fire Needle And Ren-blue Light In The Remedy Of Moderate And Severe Acne Of Damp Heat And Toxic Accumulation Type

Objective From the aspects of GAGS score,TCM symptom score,Cardiff acne disability index(CADI)and incidence of adverse reactions,the clinical efficacy of self-made acne drink combined with fire needle and red and blue light in the treatment of moderate and severe acne of damp-heat toxin accumulation type was evaluated,and the economic,safe and effective treatment plan for moderate and severe acne was further explored.Methods Seventy patients with moderate and severe acne were randomly divided into study group and control group according to the diagnostic criteria,35 cases in each group.The control group was given fire needle combined with red and blue light.The study group was given self-made acne drink orally on the basis of the control group;both groups were treated for 8 weeks.The phase observation indexes of the two groups underwent statistical analysis at the 4th and 8th weeks to evaluate the effectiveness and tolerance of the two treatment methods.Results There was no significant difference in age,gender,GAGS score,TCM symptom score,Cardiff acne disability index between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).1 GAGS score After 4 and 8 weeks of therapy,the GAGS scores of the two groups were lower than before,and the study group decreased more significantly,which had a statistical significance(P < 0.05).2 TCM symptom score After 4 weeks and 8 weeks of treatment,the scores of TCM symptoms in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the study group decreased more significantly,which had a statistical significance(P < 0.05).3 Comparison of efficacy After 4 weeks and 8 weeks of treatment,the effective rates of the study group were67.65 % and 88.24 %,respectively,which were higher than those of the control group(40.63 % and 68.75 %),which had a statistical significance(P < 0.05).4 Cardiff acne disability index(CADI)After 8 weeks of treatment,the CADI scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the study group decreased more significantly,which had a statistical significance(P < 0.05).5 Incidence of adverse reactions Both groups of patients had pain,a little bleeding symptoms during acupuncture,which did not affect the treatment.During the treatment,a patient developed mild diarrhea in the study group,with an adverse reaction rate of 2.94%.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion The clinical efficacy of self-made acne drink combined with fire needle and red and blue light in the treatment of moderate to severe acne of damp-heat toxin accumulation type is significant.It can significantly improve the skin lesion status,TCM symptom score and quality of life of patients,and has high clinical safety.
