Efficacy Of Tongfuxiefei Decoction Combined With Western Medicine In The Treatment Of Mycoplasma Pneumoniae Pneumonia In Children With Phlegm-heat Closed Lung Syndrome

Objective:To observe the efficacy of Tongfu Xiefei Decoction combined with Western medicine in the treatment of Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia with phlegm-heat closed lung syndrome in children,and to provide a new idea for the treatment of this disease in children.Methods : From January 2022 to December 2022,80 children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia phlegm-heat closed lung syndrome admitted to the pediatric ward of Wuhu Hospital of TCM from January 2022 to December 2022 were included,and 40 cases were divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table method.The control group was given erythromycin intravenous drip and comprehensive treatment such as antipyretic,fluid rehydration,and the observation group was given Tongfu Xiefei Decoction on the basis of the control group.The total effective rate of treatment,the improvement of TCM symptoms,the disappearance time of clinical symptoms and signs and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared with a 10-day observation course of treatment,and the levels of inflammatory indexes(WBC,CRP,IL-8,TNF-α)and gastrointestinal hormones(G-17)before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.The study data were statistically analyzed using SPSS26.0.Result:1.General data: gender,age,condition at admission,there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).2.Total effective rate of treatment: 97.5% in the observation group and 92.5% in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Points of major and minor symptoms of TCM: compared with the data before treatment,the points of major symptoms of TCM(fever,cough,sputum,asthma,pulmonary rales)and minor symptoms(mental state,food consumption,stool,urine,tongue pulse)in the two groups after treatment were all reduced,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);compared with the control group,the improvement of cough,sputum and pulmonary rales in the main symptom scores in the observation group was more obvious after treatment,while the improvement of intake,stool,tongue and pulse in the minor symptom scores was more obvious than that in the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).4.Total points of major and minor symptoms and total points of symptoms of TCM:Compared with the data before treatment,the three integrals in the two groups decreased after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the three integrals of the observation group improved more significantly after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Disappearance time of clinical symptoms and signs: the disappearance time of fever,cough,sputum production and pulmonary rales between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);the disappearance time of asthma between the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).6.Laboratory indicators: Compared with the group before and after treatment,the levels of WBC,CRP,IL-8,TNF-α and G-17 decreased in the two groups,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,there was no significant difference in WBC decline between the two groups(P>0.05).The levels of CRP,IL-8,TNF-αand G-17 in the observation group were better than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).7.Adverse reactions: the incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group and the control group were 5.0% and 7.5% respectively,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion : Compared with Western medicine treatment group,Tongfu Xiefei Decoction combined with Western medicine treatment can effectively relieve symptoms such as cough,sputum cough,pulmonary rales,reduce inflammatory reaction,improve gastrointestinal function,and promote the recovery of Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia with phlegm-heat closed lung syndrome in children.
