Objective:To observe the clinical effect of treating Yin deficiency and fire flourish type sweating syndrome with the combination of acupuncture and Dong Qi point,to explore a new treatment plan for patients with sweating syndrome and broaden the clinical treatment of sweating syndrome.Method:The study collected 65 patients with sweat evidence who met the inclusion criteria and divided them into two groups using the random number table method.A final total of 60 cases were completed, with 30 cases in each group.Under the same basic treatment conditions, the control group was given conventional acupuncture treatment, with acupuncture once a day,and after 3 consecutive treatments, the treatment was continued at an interval of 1 day for 4 weeks. The treatment group was treated with snap acupuncture combined with Dong’s qi points twice a week, and the second treatment was performed one day after the first treatment, for 4 weeks. The Hyperhidrosis Disease Severity Scale(HDSS),the Chinese Medicine Evidence Score Scale, the Dermatology Quality of Life Index(DLQI),and the Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS)were completed before and after treatment,respectively.Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS)and Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS).The data collected were statistically analyzed by appropriate methods to compare the differences between the two groups of patients before and after treatment and between the groups, and the clinical efficacy was evaluated according to the results.Results:1.Before treatment, the two groups of patients in terms of gender, age and duration of disease were analyzed by data,P > 0.05 did not have statistical differences and were comparable.2.After the completion of treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was ninety percent, and the total effective rate of the control group was eighty-three point three percent. After the rank sum test, the difference of P > 0.05 was not statistically significant, indicating that both treatment methods had definite efficacy on the sweating evidence of yin deficiency and fire.3.Comparison of HDSS scores: After the completion of the 4-week course of treatment,HDSS scores of both groups were significantly reduced compared with those before treatment(P < 0.05),indicating that the two treatments both played a role in controlling the sweating symptoms of patients.Comparing the two groups,P < 0.05 showed that the treatment group was more effective in changing sweating symptoms than the control group.4.Comparison of TCM syndrome scores: After the 4-week course of treatment, the TCM syndrome scores of patients in the two groups before and after treatment were compared, and the scores decreased significantly at the end of the course of treatment,P< 0.05,which was statistically significant, showing that both treatments had an improvement effect on the TCM syndrome manifestations of patients with yin deficiency and fire type of sweating evidence. The difference between the two groups was more significant,P < 0.05,indicating that the treatment group was more effective than the control group in terms of the change of TCM symptoms.5.DLQI score comparison: After the completion of the treatment time specified in the subject, the DLQI scores of patients in the two groups tended to decrease compared with those before the treatment,P < 0.05,and the difference was statistically significant, showing that both different treatment modalities were beneficial in improving the quality of daily life of patients with sweating evidence. The difference between the two groups was significant,P < 0.05,indicating that the treatment effect of the treatment group was slightly better than that of the control group in improving the daily quality of life of patients with sweating evidence.6.Comparison of SAD and SDS scores:After the completion of the time specified in the subject treatment,SAD and SDS scores were reduced by the treatment,P < 0.05,and the statistical significance of the difference existed, showing that both treatment modalities could improve the state of anxiety and depression in patients with sweat evidence. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant, indicating that the treatment group was more effective than the control group in helping to change the anxiety state of the patients with sweat, and the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant, indicating that both treatment modalities were able to improve the depressive state of the patients with sweat. The effect of both treatments was comparable.Conclusion:1.Both of the two treatment methods of acupuncture combined with the combination of Dongshi Qi point and conventional acupuncture have exact curative effects on Yin deficiency and fire-wang type sweating syndrome, and the clinical curative effects are comparable.2.Compared with conventional acupuncture treatment, the combination of acupuncture and Dongshi Qi point has more curative advantages in improving patients with sweat syndrome,TCM syndrome, sweating symptoms, quality of life and anxiety. The efficacy of acupuncture was comparable to that of conventional acupuncture in improving depression.3.The clinical efficacy of using snap acupuncture combined with Dong’s qi points for the treatment of yin deficiency and fire type sweating is obvious, simple and safe to operate, and worth promoting.
