| Objective Investigation of Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis patients with Body Image,Self-Esteem,Fear of Negative Evaluation and Social Appearance Anxiety Evaluation status quo of the level of them,analysis of AIS patients with Body Image,Self-Esteem,Fear of Negative Evaluation and Social Appearance Anxiety relationship and action mechanism of Body Image,Self-Esteem,Fear of Negative Evaluation and Social Appearance Anxiety the chain of intermediary role,To provide basis for further constructing psychological intervention program for Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis patients.MethodsUsing the cross-sectional investigation method and based on the principle of convenient sampling,AIS patients who were hospitalized from July 2016 to July 2021 in a third class A hospital in Anhui Province were selected as the research objects.General data questionnaire,BIDQ-S,Self-Esteem Scale,Concise Fear of negative evaluation Scale,Social Appearance Anxiety Scale were used.Excel was used to establish the database,SPSS24.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the data,single factor analysis and multiple regression analysis were used to test the mediation model,SPSS24.0 plug-in Process3.3 was used to test the mediation effect,and error correction percentle Bootstrap method was used to test the mediation effect.The level of bilateral test was α=0.05.Result(1)The Body Image score of Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis patients was(16.58±6.031),Self-Esteem score was(29.337±4.944),the score of Fear Negative Evaluation was(19.01±5.186),Social Appearance Anxiety score was(37.43±9.752);(2)Univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in Body Image scores of Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis patients in age and treatment methods(P < 0.05).The scores of Social Appearance Anxiety in Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis patients in age,weight,height,diagnosis years and treatment methods were significantly different(P < 0.05).(3)Pearson correlation analysis showed that Body Image was negatively correlated with Self-Esteem(r =-0.348,P < 0.01),and Body Image was positively correlated with Fear of Negative Evaluation(r =0.302,P < 0.01)and Social Appearance Anxiety(r =0.422,P < 0.01).Self-Esteem was negatively correlated with Fear of Negative Evaluation(r=-0.349,P < 0.01)and Social Appearance Anxiety(r =-0.483,P < 0.01).There was a significant positive correlation between Fear of Negative Evaluation and Social Appearance Anxiety(r =0.766,P < 0.01).(4)Mediating effect test showed that(1)Fear of Negative Evaluation had a significant mediating effect between Body Image and Aocial Appearance Anxiety,the mediating effect was 0.195,and the proportion of mediating effect was 0.195/(0.195+0.266)=42.30%.(2)Self-Esteem significantly mediated the relationship between Body Image and Social Appearance Anxiety,with a mediating effect of 0.054(0.054+0.266)=16.88%.(3)There were significant mediating effects between Body Image and Social Appearance Anxiety between Fear of Negative Evaluation and Self-Esteem,and the mediating effect value was 0.016.Body image also positively affected Social Appearance Anxiety,with a direct effect of 0.156,P<0.001.The mediating effect of Fear of Negative Evaluation and Self-Esteem on Body Image and Social Appearance Anxiety was 0.266/(0.266+0.156)=63.03%.Conclusion(1)The Body Image of Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis patients was above medium level.(2)Age and treatment may be the main influencing factors of Body Image in Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis patients.Age,weight,height,years of diagnosis and treatment may be the main influencing factors of Social Appearance Anxiety in Adolescent Adiopathic Acoliosis patients.(3)There were significant correlations between Body Image,Self-Esteem,Fear of Negative Evaluation and Social Appearance Anxiety in Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis patients。(4)Fear of Negative Evaluation and Self-Esteem played a chain mediating role in Body Image and Social Appearance Anxiety. |
