Objective:Observe the clinical efficacy of Dan Tai Bu Xin Decoction with modified ingredients in treating stable angina pectoris(qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome).Methods:86 patients diagnosed with coronary heart disease and meeting the criteria for stable angina pectoris with qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome, who received treatment at the Cardiovascular Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine from December 2021 to January 2023 were randomly divided into observation group and a control group, with 43 cases in each group, and the treatment period was 4 weeks. This study evaluates the clinical effectiveness and safety of Dan Tai Bu Xin Decoction by using indicators such as the therapeutic effect on angina, the Seattle Angina Questionnaire score, the Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome score, the nitroglycerin usage rate, and blood lipid levels.Results:1.Efficacy of angina pectoris:After 4 weeks of treatment, both groups of patients showed a certain degree of improvement in angina symptoms.Compared with the control group, the observation group showed a significant difference in the degree of improvement in angina score after treatment(P<0.05).The improvement rates in the observation group and the control group were 87.5% and 73.8%,respectively.In terms of improving angina, the observation group was superior to the control group(P<0.05).2.Seattle Angina Questionnaire comparison:The PL,AS,AF,TS,and DS scores of the two groups of patients showed a certain degree of improvement before and after treatment. It can be concluded that there were significant differences(P<0.05)in the four dimensions of PL,AS,AF,and TS between the Bu Xin Decoction treatment group and the control group.Although the DS score also showed some improvement, there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).3.Improvement of TCM syndrome:The total score of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes in both the observation group and the control group showed a significant decrease before treatment, and the total score and total effective rate of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes after treatment were better in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).4.Nitroglycerin withdrawal rate:The nitroglycerin withdrawal rates before and after treatment were compared between the two groups of coronary heart disease patients. The withdrawal rates for the observation group and the control group were 87.50%and 66.67%,respectively,and the observation group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).5.Comparison of blood lipid levels:There was no significant difference between the observation group and the control group before treatment(P>0.05),indicating comparability. After treatment, the levels of LDL,TC,TG,HDL,and AIP all decreased in both groups. The observation group was superior to the control group in regulating blood lipid levels(P<0.05).6.Safety index results:All subjects had stable vital signs and no discomfort symptoms or allergic reactions. There were no significant differences in safety indicators such as liver and kidney function, blood, urine and stool routine before and after treatment.Conclusion:1.Dan Tai Bu Xin Decoction has a significant therapeutic effect on the symptoms of stable angina pectoris with Qi deficiency and blood stasis. It can significantly reduce the frequency and severity of angina attacks and decrease the usage of nitroglycerin.2.Dan Tai Bu Xin Decoction can significantly improve the Chinese medicine syndromes of chest tightness, chest pain, palpitations, and shortness of breath in patients.3.Dan Tai Bu Xin Decoction can regulate the levels of LDL,TC,TG,HDL,AIP in patients and reduce the risk of recurrent coronary events.4.During the treatment of stable angina patients with Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome using Dan Tai Bu Xin Decoction,no obvious adverse reactions were observed, and clinical application was found to be safe and effective.
