Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of the Chinese herbal formula(Guiqi pain relief Tang)combined with fire acupuncture in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia caused by Qi deficiency and blood stasis. Methods:In accordance with the order of outpatient consultation,108 patients who met the inclusion criteria for postherpetic neuralgia were selected for the study, and were divided into treatment group 1,treatment group 2 and control group according to the simple sort randomization method, with 36 cases in each group.Among them,35 cases in treatment group 1 were given oral Chinese medicine soup(Guiqi pain relief Tang)and fire acupuncture treatment at the painful area;34 cases in treatment group 2 were given oral Chinese medicine soup(Guiqi pain relief Tang);34 cases in the control group were given oral Pregabalin capsule combined with methylcobalamin tablets. All three groups were treated for 28 days, and the pain VAS score, pain duration score,AIS score and TCM symptom score were observed and recorded on day 0± 2,day 14± 2 and day 28± 2 of the treatment. On day 28± 2,the efficacy indices of the three groups of patients before and after treatment were determined, and the safety of the drugs was assessed by combining the safety indices of the three groups of patients before and after treatment and the adverse reactions that occurred during treatment.Results:1.The pain VAS score, pain duration score,AIS score and TCM symptom score of patients in the three groups improved after treatment compared with those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant when comparing within groups(P<0.05);the differences were statistically significant when comparing between groups, and the degree of improvement in both treatment group 1 and treatment group 2 was better than that of the control group(P<0.05),and treatment group 1 was better than treatment group 2(P<0.05).2.After treatment, the total effective rate of pain improvement in the three groups was 91.43%,82.35% and 70.59% respectively. The pain efficacy of the three groups was compared and the total effective rate of pain improvement in the three groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Chinese herbal medicine combined with fire acupuncture can effectively improve the patients’ pain VAS score,AIS score, pain duration score and TCM symptom score in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia with qi deficiency and blood stasis type.2.Chinese herbal medicine combined with fire acupuncture is a safe and effective method for treating postherpetic neuralgia caused by qi deficiency and blood stasis type. |
