| Objective: This study aims to provide a clinically implementable treatment for hand-foot syndrome(HFS)related to targeted therapy for colorectal cancer by internal administration combined with 10% urea cream for the external treatment of hand-foot syndrome(HFS)for colorectal cancer.Methods: In this study,48 patients with evidence of qi deficiency and blood stasis related to targeted therapy for bowel cancer were collected,including 28 cases in the observation group(using internal administration +external application of 10% urea cream)and 20 cases in the control group(only 10% urea cream applied externally).Results: There was no significant significance in reducing HFS grade after one cycle of treatment,and there was a statistically significant difference between groups in reducing HFS grade after two cycles of treatment(P<0.05),suggesting that the experimental group was better than the control group in reducing HFS grade after two cycles of treatment,but there was no significant significance in the grade of pain relief between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in reducing pain level,and neither group of patients saw a skin eruption during treatment,include itching and other adverse reactions.No noteworthy disparities in the blood regimen and liver and kidney functioning were observed before and after the two groups.Conclusion: Internal administration combined with 10% urea cream and 10% urea cream alone can reduce the HFS grade associated with targeted therapy for bowel cancer,there are no apparent adverse reactions in the whole treatment.However,the external application of 10% urea cream was significantly better than that of 10% urea cream alone in reducing HFS grade,and there was no significant difference in the degree of pain relief,nor was there any noticeable difference in safety. |
