Clinical Observation Of Huatanmaitong Tablet On Blood Pressure Variability In Patients With Hypertension Complicated By Sleep Disorder

Objective: This study aims to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Huatan Maitong tablets in treating patients with hypertension and sleep disorders caused by phlegm and blood stasis,and to analyze the clinical effects of blood pressure variability,PSQI,and traditional Chinese medicine syndromes before and after treatment.Methods: Collect 66 patients with phlegm stasis type hypertension and sleep disorders who met the inclusion criteria and were admitted to the Hypertension Department of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2022 to January 2023.Using a random number table method,divide the 66 patients into an experimental group and a control group,with 33 patients in the experimental group and 33 patients in the control group.The control group was given amlodipine besylate tablets,and the test group was given amlodipine besylate tablets combined with Huatan Maitong tablets.The treatment course was 8 weeks.Two groups of patients were measured for dynamic blood pressure and consultation room blood pressure before and after treatment,while filling out the Pittsburgh Sleep Index(PSQI)and Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Score Assessment Scale for efficacy evaluation.Results: 1.Comparison of blood pressure and antihypertensive efficacy between two groups of patients before and after treatment: There were differences in SBP,24-hour SBP,DSBP,and NSBP between the two groups before and after treatment(p < 0.05);However,compared between groups,from a numerical perspective,the experimental group showed a significant decrease in values,and the experimental group had better antihypertensive efficacy than the control group.2.Comparison of blood pressure variability between two groups of patients before and after treatment: The experimental group showed differences in 24-hour SSD,DSSD,NSSD,24-hour SBPV,DSBPV,and NSBPV before and after treatment(p < 0.05),and value decreases after treatment;There was no difference in the control group before and after treatment.3.Comparison of PSQI scores between two groups of patients before and after treatment: There was no difference in PSQI scores between the experimental group and the control group before and after treatment(p>0.05).4.Comparison of Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Scores and Efficacy between Two Groups of Patients before and after Treatment: There is a difference in Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Scores between the Experimental Group after Treatment(p<0.05),while there was no difference in changes after treatment in the control group(p>0.05).After treatment,the therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome in the experimental group was better than that in the control group.5.Comparison of blood lipid levels between two groups of patients before and after treatment: There is a difference in TG levels between the experimental group before and after treatment(p < 0.05),decreased values after experiment In the control group,there was no difference in all items before and after treatment(p>0.05).Conclusion: 1.On the basis of amlodipine besylate tablet reducing the blood pressure of patients with hypertension and sleep disorder,the addition of Huatan Maitong tablet can enhance the effect of blood pressure reduction,improve the variability of blood pressure,and make the blood pressure level of patients more stable.2.Huatan Maitong Tablets can improve the discomfort symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine in patients with hypertension combined with sleep disorders caused by phlegm and blood stasis,and improve their quality of life.3.Huatan Maitong tablets can reduce patients’ triglyceride levels,which is beneficial for vascular health.
