Objective:Exploring the clinical value of Quyu Huashi Decoction by observing the clinical effect of it in the treatment of chronic calculous cholecystitis(Qi stagnation and blood stasis type),which can also provide new ideas and methods for the treatment of chronic calculous cholecystitis with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).Methods:According to random number table method, sixty patients with chronic calculous cholecystitis(Qi stagnation and blood stasis)who met the inclusion criteria were divided into control group and experimental group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was given ursodeoxycholic acid capsule treatment, and the experimental group was given Quyu Huashi Decoction on the basis of the control group. The course of treatment for two groups was 8weeks.During the treatment, patients were instructed to adjust their lifestyle, including regular meals, light diet, maintaining a happy mood, scientific exercise, etc. After the course of treatment,TCM syndrome score,Visual analogue scale(VAS),and ultrasonic changes of gallbladder(including stone size and gallbladder wall thickness)of the two groups were observed before and after treatment, and the efficacy of TCM syndrome of Quyu Huashi Decoction was evaluated.Results:1.Comparison of baseline data: Before treatment, there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups(P>0.05)in gender, age, course of disease,TCM syndrome score,VAS pain score, stone size and gallbladder wall thickness which indicated comparability.2.Comparison of TCM syndrome scores: After treatment,TCM single symptom scores of the two groups were lower than before treatment(P<0.05),and the improvement of other symptoms of the experimental group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05),except for the dry throat. The total score of TCM syndrome in both groups after treatment was lower than that before treatment, and the experimental group was better than the control group(P<0.05).3.Comparison of the efficacy of TCM syndrome: After treatment,The curative effect of TCM syndrome was 78.57% in the control group and 89.66%in the experimental group, the experimental group was superior to the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Comparison of VAS pain score: The VAS pain score of the two groups after treatment was lower than that before treatment, and the experimental group was better than the control group(P<0.05).5.Comparison of gallbladder stone size: After treatment, the stone size in both groups was narrowed compared with that before treatment, and the experimental group was better than the control group(P<0.05).6.Comparison of gallbladder wall thickness: The gallbladder wall thickness of the two groups reduced after treatment compared with that before treatment, and the experimental group was better than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Quyu Huashi Decoction can effectively improve the TCM syndrome of patients with chronic calculous cholecystitis(Qi stagnation and blood stasis type).2.Quyu Huashi Decoction can effectively bring down the VAS pain score of patients with chronic calculous cholecystitis(Qi stagnation and blood stasis type),narrow the size of stones and reduce the thickness of gallbladder wall.
